The classic Scotts 20 in. 5-Blade Push Reel Mower is the clean, quiet, and healthy way to take care of your lawn. Gas-powered rotary mowers produce emissions and the blades hack at the grass, tearing vital fluids from the grass leaving them open to disease and insect attacks. With Scotts 20 in. reel mower there is no ripping or tearing of the grass blades. The 5-blade reel snips the grass, cutting each blade of grass like a pair of scissors, leaving your lawn greener and healthier. With the grass catcher included, this reel mower is an easy way to maintain your lawn. This reel mower is easy to assemble, lightweight, easy to operate and convenient to store. Keep your lawn healthy with Scotts reel mowers.

It’s perfect for our small lawn area.

I assembled it in probably 15 minutes and was cutting my grass in 20. Super happy with this purchase.

Not having anything to compare to it is difficult to rate. Grass catcher does not perform well. Difficult to attach to mower. We just decided to use without catcher. We have a variety of kinds and textures of grass in our lawn. Mower does not work well on parts of the lawn. It does not pick up any leaves or droppings from a redwood tree. Have to rake first. Wanted the mower to reduce pollution and noise. Will use part of the time and gas mower the rest.

My family love it. We just needed to get used on how to maneuver the mower. We are happy that we used a manual mower. It’s environment friendly, not heavy and easy to use.

The lawn mower worked great after we lowered the cutting Blade.

Easy to push and maneuver, great cut, assembly was a breeze. Grass looks great and is healthier already

Easy to use and easy to store.

Overall cuts the yard great. Not the best if you have little sticks and twigs in your yard as it will catch and stop the mower from moving. It also squeeks quite a bit so get some lubricant.

Just unboxed this thing and started cutting. It is very light and surprisingly easy to push around (I’m not a small guy, it’s definitely not like pushing a self propelled). It only took 5-10 minutes to get it out of the box, assembled, and started. The major issue I have with it is the blade height. It claims to cut from 1″ to 3″. I have bermuda grass I have been cutting on the next to lowest level on a honda self propelled. I last cut my grass 4 days ago and this thing doesn’t even take any off the top. After looking at it and cutting some slightly taller areas, the lowest setting cuts at around 2-2.5″. It does make a nice clean cut but I was hoping for an actual 1″ cut which this doesn’t provide.Overall it is well built and I would definitely keep it if I had some taller fescue.

Actually it did exactly what I wanted it to do which was cut my grass. My back yard is about 700 square feet and I was able to get it cut. It took a few to put it together. The instructions really don’t help but I figured it out. The only down side. I had a lot of grass and the bag thing holds it but a few times I had to clear the extra grass from around the wheels if not it won’t move. So far good buy.

So far it s the best

Product was easy to assemble. All parts was there. The instructions was little confusing but I just played around with it and adjusted the height of the trimmer to what was needed.I like this mower because its environmentally friendly and it’s not loud like the gas mowers. I can mow the lawn early in the morning without disturbing my neighbors.

Almost reddy to go you. Can’t go wrong with a Scott’s prouduc!
Jeramie Lueilwitz (verified owner) –
Works good on even grass. The grass catcher has too big of a gap between the bottom of the bag and mower. Otherwise mower works great. Blades are very sharp.

Love it! Easy to maneuver. Quiet.

Used it once and so far, I love it!
Dahlia Fadel (verified owner) –
I was pleasantly surprised that this was so easy to push. I’m not a greenie but I bought this to have a more perfect lawn and it delivered

I would give it an excellent but it’s a bit more “skweeky” to my liking…maybe some silicone or WD 40 will help.

Package arrived without damage. Took 15 minutes to assemble. Cut was clean. But grass can neither be shorter than 2” or taller than 4” despite the height adjustment. The grass catcher attaches to the mower using cheap plastic clips on its underside. Going to sell on craigslist or Facebook and will get a regular mower.
