I really enjoy my new mower. It is perfect for the yard that I have. The batteries last about as long as listed, some of which depends on the height of the grass, and how low you are cutting. I will saw, though, the batteries take longer than expected to charge, taking close to 4 hours when completely empty so be sure to charge ahead of time, and charge both so that you are ready to go.

I LOVE my new Black&Decker battery powered lawn mower!!! I have a small lawn that takes both batteries to mow. The machine is quiet, no pollution, no storing gas in my garage! The mower is lighter than a gas machine and being in my 60’s it’s perfect for me.

First time owner of an electric mower and it has amazed me! Easy assembly.The 2 batteries provided need to be charged out of the box, and once charged, I was able to mow both front/ back yards. EXTREMELY QUIET and in which it allowed me to mow during evening hours without disturbing the neighbors. I would suggest buying a couple of spare batteries and charger if you have a decent size yard to mow.

No Gas No Oil ! Keep the blade sharp and pick up a second charger to keep both batteries charged is the way to go. I own the 36volt B&D trimmer and batteries fit on both. First time I mowed the lawn not only did the battery last I used the same battery on the trimmer. I will be getting the 40 volt sweeper and 24 inch 40 volt trimmer and I might even pick up the 40 volt chainsaw just to complete my collection.

Very light and easy to use…almost TOO light if there is such a thing. I find that I have to make sure the front wheels stay down because it is so much lighter than my old gas one! I haven’t pushed the batteries to the limit, yet, but one battery allows me to mow my lawn just fine…which takes me about 15 minutes since it is relatively small. But, the battery does show it is towards the bottom of the charge after that. Yes, the batteries have a charge indicator which is really nice. My pre-teen boys are able to use this no problem where I couldn’t leave them with by gas mower, yet, because it was difficult. And this cuts every bit as good…and so QUIETLY! Great buy that I’m very pleased with.

Very light and maneuverable-maybe too much so. Really is very light. Works perfectly and I can mow both front and rear lawns on just one battery! I just hope it holds up for 10 years like my old Homelite mower. Otherwise very satisfied.

Finally got rid of my gas/oil/spark plug/tune up/heavy/noise maker. If a lawn mower can be a joy this one is. At around 40 lbs. Easy to push and maneuver. Much easier turning and going around things. Starting is just push a button and pull the handle back, no more priming and pulling. Adjusting the height is so easy it’s scary. My gas mower was a self propelled model that you just walked and it went. Well this one is about the same just walk and it goes with you, it’s that light. If you have hills etc get a self propelled model. My lot is 60 x 160 so grass only is about a 14th of an acre takes about 45 min to mow so with 2 batteries I have no problem cutting the entire lawn. I mulch strictly. I never run the battery completely out. When I’m about half done I switch batteries and put on charger immediately if it’s not too hot. This saves the batteries in the long run. And now I do not have to wear ear plugs. I can actually hear my phone if it rings. Only thing I recommend is getting the orange model as the batteries are faster charging and slightly stronger. A 4 rating on features because because of the charger.
