Enhance your business with fast and reliable wireless network coverage with the Orbi Pro AX6000 Wireless Tri-Band Gigabit Mesh Wi-Fi System from Netgear. This 802.11ax Wi-Fi system includes a router and two satellites to help eliminate dead spots and create a seamless experience when roaming from one room to the next to participate in video calls, watch streaming videos, and more. You can set up to four separate network names (SSID), each with their own flexible VLAN configurations for added security.
The router includes a 2.5 Gigabit WAN/LAN port for multi-Gig internet connections. Similarly, each satellite has a 2.5GbE LAN port alongside four Gigabit Ethernet ports for connecting compatible high-speed wired switches, computers, NAS devices, and more. Two of the Gigabit Ethernet LAN ports can be combined using Link Aggregation for increased bandwidth with supported devices. The system also includes a one-year subscription to the Netgear Insight platform, which allows you to monitor and configure networked devices from almost anywhere using the Netgear Insight mobile app or cloud-based portal. Wall and ceiling mounting kits are included with the Orbi Pro system.

NETGEAR has a market winner with these ORBI Pro systems. The quality is great. The set-up is easy and intuitive. And the performance is exceptional. As a Systems Integrator, I shall be recommending and installed these ORBI Pro WiFi products wherever I can.

To date after several rounds with Netgear technical support, the device does not provide adequate coverage as advertised. In fact, received “excellent” coverage with a previous generation device, whereas I get no better than “good” coverage, as monitored and reported by Netgear utilities.

I was able to connect all of my devices with fewer satellites using the AX6000 wireless router. The software interface is much improved and faster than other versions. This router also supports vlans and the WAN interface supports 2.5GB. I’m very happy with this purchase so far.

You’d think you could just plug in and manage it through 192.168.1.1 but no – you have to register through a cumbersome process on their website where they collect all your information. The setup process is absurd. You also have to download an app to your phone, which also collects your data. Also, somehow I am connected to the internet on this device while it’s outright telling me that it’s not connected to my network. Because it’s not connected per their management app, it won’t let me change or configure anything about it. I will say – it’s gives great internet speed and range, but the setup process and signing away your personal info is not worth it.

The Orbi Pro was easy to set up and has unparalleled throughput. I appreciate having 4 networks (admin, employee, IoT, and guest) to keep the networks separated (vLAN). You pay a premium for a premium product.
