Take case lighting a step further with the Strimer Plus Triple 8-Pin ARGB RTX 30 Series GPU Extension Cable from Lian Li. Featuring 162 addressable LEDs, this 3×8-pin NVIDIA RTX 30 series graphics card extension cable allows for an added dimension to your lighting scheme. Measuring 11.81″, this cable is constructed from silicone and PVC and utilizes braided 18 AWG wiring.
Please note, this extension cable requires 5V of power. If underpowered, the brightness function may be affected. When using an all-white lighting scheme, it is recommended to lower the brightness setting, as unexpected damage may occur. Furthermore, using an ARGB splitter with the included controller may cause interference. Instead, it is recommended to connect other ARGB devices using the LED signal output cable.

If you need moar RGB and have a triple 8-pin GPU, this is a must-have. Just plug in, configure the lights to your choosing, and enjoy. If you already have the 24-pin and dual 8-pin strimer, the controller that you plug into for those won’t work with this. Just swap that controller with the one included with this strimer and you should be good to go.

Ok, if you are reading this or researching this, you are going after RGB 🙂 LOL. I am a big fan of pastel color RGB. If you are not, then this might not be for you as it has a diffuser on top of the RGB. It is very nice looking to me however. Installation: Some people complain about how hard it is to bend the cable/RGB. Take your time, watch some YouTube instruction videos like: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JRawaGMNGDQ before installing it. You will be rewarded with all the RGB glory. LOL. Why only 4 stars? There is still no native Lian-Li software to control it. Yes, you can use your motherboard ARGB software with by-passing the controller box. Yes, you can use the Lian-Li L-Connect software if you have the Lian-Li Uni Fan with some tinkering (YouTube have some videos showing how-to do it). But come-on, Lian-Li. Please include Strimer into L-Connect software.

This RGB ribbon light is pretty gosh darn cool! Couple things to know however, the controller options are pretty cool and flashy, but rather limited. It’s either a single color or a RGB show and whatever effect the controller has. So no two color or three color options, etc. HOWEVER your motherboard can control the colors as well. Depending on your motherboard and it’s lighting program (mystic, fusion, aura, etc). Now being in my shoes, MSI has the worst lighting options out of the listed motherboard rgb programs. I would advise to look into other lighting program solutions like I have. Apparently you can make corsair ICUE work with the RGB strimer product. Some googling and a couple adapters later should do the trick. The videos I’ve seen of this setup really improve the LAN LI RGB strimer from its standard function. GOOD LUCK ALL!

Everything worked great and I like the different RGB lighting options built into the controller. However, I purchased an adapter cable off ebay so I could control it via Corsairs iCUE software. Installation was fairly easy. Just plan for the extra power cable length you need to hide since this essentially adds length to your power supply cables. Also, make sure you decide which way you are going to run it because you may have to swap the RGB lights over to the other side. Trust me, after the third or fourth time of being indecisive and swapping things back and forth it gets easier to swap the lights and re-straighten all the individual wires. 😉

Amazing product! I recommend it only if you have a big case computer with a hole under your graphics card.

Will admit the set up was a little bit tricky act first , but I realized it needed to be on a different argb header since my other header was already being split up too much. Once properly installed it was a very nice addition to add that custom look and is well worth it. Very vibrant led really makes the system look great!
