Apricorn 1TB Aegis Fortress L3 Encrypted Portable SSD

Keep your mission-critical data safe while you’re on the go with the 1TB Aegis Fortress L3 Encrypted Portable SSD from Apricorn. This portable 1TB solid state drive is encased in an aircraft-grade aluminum-alloy shell with an integrated, wear-resistant 10-digit security keypad. The system allows you to set your own pin and transfers data at up to 5 Gb/s over its USB 3.1 Gen 1 connection. Designed to meet FIPS 140-2 Level 3 standards, the drive protects your data with real-time AES-XTS 256-bit encryption. Forced enrollment helps to ensure that the drive can’t be used without programming a PIN, while an auto-lock feature automatically locks the drive after it’s left unattended for a predetermined period of time. The drive is also designed to wipe itself after a set number of incorrect PIN entry attempts.

USB Type-A and USB Type-C cables are included with the drive. The Aegis Fortress L3 is platform agnostic and will work with any complaint system with a powered USB port, including Windows, Mac, Linux, and Android devices.
