The 2TB G-DRIVE ArmorATD USB 3.2 Gen 1 External Hard Drive from SanDisk Professional provides pro-grade durability for your photos, footage, and other important files, no matter if you’re out in the wild or back in the studio. Built with triple-layer shock resistance, which is made up of a durable rubber bumper, an anodized aluminum enclosure, and internal shock mounts, the G-DRIVE ArmorATD can withstand up to 1000 pounds of pressure and drops of up to 3.9′ on a carpeted concrete floor. It is also IP54-rated, which provides protection against rain, sand, and dust.
SanDisk Professional designed the G-DRIVE ArmorATD with a capacity of 2TB and data transfer speeds of up to 140 MB/s. It is compatible with macOS 10.12 and later straight out of the box, as well as Apple’s Time Machine, and may be reformatted for use with Windows 10. To connect this drive to your host system, there is a USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-C interface on the drive, which is compatible with Thunderbolt 3. Power is provided through either the USB or Thunderbolt bus, meaning that no external power adapters are required. Included are USB Type-C to Type-C and USB Type-C to Type-A cables.

This is my first SanDisk external hard drive, and I LOVE it. It is exceptionally fast and rugged. Perfect addition to my MacBook Pro for travel.

I have used my 2TB G-Drive Armor for over a year now. It has seen duty in construction zones on barrier islands and it has yet to fail. I use it to store drone imagery tiles and massive amounts of GIS data. VERY RELIABLE!!!

Just right for anybody looking for a safe, consistent storage with quick download speeds. I leave it plugged in and backup everything else to it.

I stick with G-Tech drives – confusingly marketed as SanDisk with a big ‘G’ – because they’ve been really reliable, well designed, and priced reasonably. Haven’t had this one long, but it seems to be working fine like the others.

Excellent backup drive with moderately fast speed. This is a hard disk based drive and comes with a rubber protector that makes it feel very durable. Included cables make work a snap.

This is, without a doubt, the worst disk i have ever bought. i Bought 2, with a 6 month difference. De second i bought, lasted 3 months, the first one, lasted less then 2 years. Both are in the trash bin. Complete fail.
