The GS1100 24-Port Gigabit Rackmountable Unmanaged Switch from ZyXEL is designed to deliver a solution that requires no switch management for office environments demanding fanless silent operation and green technology. It provides plug-and-play simplicity for high-bandwidth connectivity. The switch protects your existing network investments while providing you with a straightforward migration path to faster Gigabit speeds. It supports non-blocking wire-speed transmission and is IEEE 802.3az compliant. The switch is equipped with 2 SFP slots and provides fiber optics connection.
The Auto MDI/MDI-X feature eliminates the need for crossover cables when connecting to another switch or hub. In addition, the Auto-negotiation feature senses the link speed of a network device and intelligently adjusts for compatibility and optimal performance. It also supports jumbo frames of up to 9KB for extra large transfers.

With networking equipment being hard to come by these days. I gave this a try because I installed a ZyXel firewall at a client’s office many years ago and it refuses to die. The switch works fine so far.
