Our commercial style Digital 24 Tray Food Dehydrator makes creating delicious and healthy snacks easy right at home. Use your favorite seasonings to make jerky from the meats your family likes best, make fruit roll-ups, and dry fruits, veggies and herbs – all with no preservatives. This unit features a 1600 watt heating element with a digital temperature control for a maximum of 160 degrees F. The digital timer lets you set the drying time for up to 12 hours. The LED lighted cabinet and glass door let you monitor the drying process without letting heat escape when opening the door. There is a built in drain reservoir for collecting excess liquids (like jerky marinade). Included are 24 nonstick metal racks for drying. Also includes four detachable wheels for effortless moving.

Heres what I didn’t like.1. Max temp 1532. Needs dedicated 20 amp circuit3. When full items near door don’t dry as fast, you need to rotate shelves4. Door Must open 180 to remove shelves5. Unit must be away from a back wall when operating

I think this is the best dehydrator on the market. However, there is room for improvement. With 24 trays, there is a lot of capacity to hold food. The screen gives current internal temp & time remaining. The glass door allows me to see my food being dehydrated but it is not very good with insulation. As a result, the food closest to the door and especially near the door handle area is the last to dehydrate. And sometimes the food in this area does not dehydrate fully. I think the glass door should be a metal insulated door to hold in more heat so the food closest to the door can fully dehydrate. The dehydrator is well made and very reasonably priced.
