With the UniFi Professional Mounting System from Ubiquiti Networks, it is easy to mount a variety of UniFi access points and other items. This mounting system comes with predrilled holes and cutouts for installation. Please note that it is not compatible with Ubiquiti Lite Access Point devices.

If for some reason the AP’s you got don’t have this piece included and only the older plastic mounts… do yourself a favor and grab these. They make mounting to any type of box much easier. Also, there is lots of space to make your own mounting solution out of them if the pre-drilled holes don’t work. The plastic one has a huge hole in the center which makes this more difficult.

This is exactly whats needed if you want to mount your AP to an existing location/outlet/junction. I only wish this was included with the AP instead of the cheap plastic mount along with the screws and anchors. It does take place of the inner plastic mount piece thats included with the AP.

The mounting system works very well and contains a lot of screw and dry wall anchor options for various type of mounting conditions. I wish this product came access points by default, however so is life. Easy install with a bunch of different options.
