The gas edger from Troy-Bilt operated very smoothly, and easily. All while putting zero strain on the back. Its 30cc, 4-cycle engine was less noisy, and produced enough torque to make quick work of things. This apparatus really spruced up either side of our driveway, putting a clean line between the rocks and the grass. The fold-down handle made for easier storage, which was very much appreciated. This piece of machinery did a fantastic job, well-worth recommending to others.

the troy-bilt TBE304 4 cycle edger is a great beginner edger if you have never used one before. Very easy to put together,basically just putting the handle bars on and the starting rope through the loops. So lightweight and easy to handle. My yard has never been edged so this was my first time. My grass had been very overgrown and this edger took it with no problem, easy start up and I started on the highest depth and made a couple passes on the sidewalk with the edger in the grass . I do really like that the edger stays running so I dont have to pull the starting rope every time unless I physically turn it off. This made it easy to grab a rake and rake the grass edging up. I then could adjust the blade depth to it’s max depth of 1.75 inches for a final pass.it did take 4 passes on a yard that has never been edged. Keeping up on it will be a breeze now. It did come with its own fuel, trufuel, which you can buy at any mainstream store and oil. That was a pleasant surprise so I didn’t have to run to a store right away to use , I just pit it together and used it. So happy with this product.

Setting this edger up was super simple and within five minutes of getting it out of the box it was ready to go. I was so impressed with how easy this edger is to start with just one pull the edger was ready to go. The machine is lightweight and super easy to maneuver. We used this edger along our sidewalk and it gave us such a nice crisp, clean edge. I also used this edger at my Mother’s house where you couldn’t tell where the sidewalk ended and the grass began. This Troy-Bilt edger plowed through the grass with very little effort. It is very easy to adjust the height on this edger so you get the blade exactly where you want it. This edger is so much quieter than our old one but much more powerful. I can’t wait to do the rest of my lawn, I highly recommend this edger. Thank you Troy-Bilt for continuing to make quality lawn equipment!

The TBE 304 30 cc 4 cycle edger by MTD is a great edger. After an easy set up, the edger edged my driveway and side walks with ease. I have never used such an easy edger before. I had no trouble at all operating the edger along my edges. The edge that was produced was cut perfectly clear and straight. The edger “walked” along my driveway and sidewalks smoothly. This machine was quiet, too I highly recommend this product for your edging needs.

This is amazing and I love it! Why? Let me tell you. First the light assembly is a piece cake, adding the fuel and oil which by the way came in the shipping box with the edger, a piece if cake, starting it is so easy and it’s light so there is no weight issue. Then I put it to the test and it’s awesome and I love it, it cleans up my fencing area beautifully. I couldn’t be more satisfied.

Everything you need is included in the box so all you have to do is set everything up and you’re good to go! It’s incredibly easy to start every time. This edger was not very heavy. I was able to carry it fine before I unboxed it. By the way, I’m a 125 lb lady. Anyhow, out the box and looking over instructions, it took me 10 mins to assemble this edger. All the parts and the edger, are pretty well built and sturdy. Comes with the gas mixture and oil, so no running to the store needed. There is a safety leaflet that describes precautions etc..The most off putting one is “use fresh unleaded gasoline.(Less than 30 days old).” That seems a bit annoying to me..So, onto the edging. The edger started right up, I will say, that it’s not very quiet, but not obnoxiously loud either. Although, it was a bit messy after all was done, this edger moved along swimmingly. I really enjoyed the end result and how it handles. Very nice! The lawn looks smooth and professional. My only suggestion is, to install a brake. I parked in on a tilted drive way, and it started to roll back.

I have only used my edger two times. My prior product was a Weedeater 19cc product that I really liked because of its size and ease to work with. This one has far more power and only a little wider, so it fits in my storage space nicely. It does a really good job. If you do not need the curb hopping feature of the bigger models, this is your answer both in price point and quality. I will see over time. Others have experienced some issues, but maybe Troy-Bilt has straightened them out. The product had been out of stock for a very long time. It is now only orderable online, but it was worth the wait.

I have used this a handful of times and unfortunately the pull cord snapped already. Fortunately, I am handy and was able to replace it but it shouldn’t do that so early on. I am docking a star for that reason. Other than that, it gives crisp edges to my lawn around my driveway and sidewalk.

My wife got excited using the Troy-Bilt 4-cycle Edger because she can finally clear the grass along our sidewalks. She was always having a hard time clearing it because she was worried she might ruin the lawn mower’s blade; hence, the edger came handy. It cuts through nicely and is very light which I guess is one of the best features not to mention easy to use. This is also a perfect machine for making a garden as it helps the edging clearer.
