Description
The StarTech 1-Port USB 2.0 Extender over Cat5/6 lets you extend a USB 2.0 connection over distances up to 330’ (100 m) using standard Cat5 or Cat6 Ethernet cabling. This USB extender is backward compatible with USB 1.x devices and enables remote placement of USB devices. It features a data transfer rate of up to 480 Mbps, no software installation required, and a durable metal enclosure. The extender also provides up to 500 mA of power (with an external power adapter; sold separately) for enhanced compatibility with bus-powered USB devices.
