This SSD utilizes the SATA III 6 Gb/s interface. This SSD also has a MTBF of 1.8 million hours, SMART and TRIM support, and is covered by a limited 5-year warranty.

While many manufacturers still make 2.5 SSD. Seagate, from my research, uses the same Phison controller as their m.2. While I may not notice such a difference in real life. It’s best to be up to date.

This hard drive replaced my 256 GB SSD, of the same make but an older drive. Boot times on the computer are about 4 seconds on, 4 seconds off, so fast my work computer (that also has an SSD) doesn’t even get to the Bitlocker password before this one is fully on. 2 TB of storage is a great amount for photo storage (heavy camera user here) and light gaming, couldn’t be happier with this drive!

Works perfectly fine. Read and writes speeds are there. Love the green logo on it. Sata6 is limited to around 550-575mb/sec, you aren’t ever going to break 600…hardware limited. Great buy, great shipping, great customer service.
