The classic Scotts 20 in. 5-Blade Push Reel Mower is the clean, quiet, and healthy way to take care of your lawn. Gas-powered rotary mowers produce emissions and the blades hack at the grass, tearing vital fluids from the grass leaving them open to disease and insect attacks. With Scotts 20 in. reel mower there is no ripping or tearing of the grass blades. The 5-blade reel snips the grass, cutting each blade of grass like a pair of scissors, leaving your lawn greener and healthier. With the grass catcher included, this reel mower is an easy way to maintain your lawn. This reel mower is easy to assemble, lightweight, easy to operate and convenient to store. Keep your lawn healthy with Scotts reel mowers.

So far, so good. Super easy assembly, easy to maneuver. Goes over reasonable bumps with ease. I’m a fan.

Easy to put together and easy to push. Does a nice even cut and the cut can be adjusted.

My battery powered mower is in the shop so this is my fill in. It does a pretty good job. Easy to push considering it isn’t powered. Cuts down to 1″. It doesn’t cut the taller weeds in the grass that grows after a rain though. I am using it twice a week to maintain the yard. So much rain and morning dew keeps the grass growing. If it cut those tall skinny weeds it would get a five star.

The scott 20″ walk behind is a well constructed reel mower. It cuts most grass and has easy to use height adjustment. It does suffer inherent reel mower inability to cut irregular height grass (read as weeds)

For a small lawn like ours (about 5500 sqft), this is fun to use. Its lightweight so you don’t get tired from pushing it around, even on our sloping yard. It’s strangely satisfying to use as well, there’s something really delightful about the sound and action of a reel mower. Only downside is if the grass gets long, even on the highest setting it can require several passes to get things back into shape.

It actually pushed through the grass easier than I thought it would. But, boy it does immediately stop if it hits a twig (but they all do). Pleasantly surprised.

The grass catcher doesn’t stay

So much easier to use than gas mowers, and it takes us less than half the usual amount of time for our yard. We could not be happier! The two things to note include clearing the lawn of branches prior to mowing, and that the grass doesn’t always fly backwards to the catcher. These things don’t bother us.

The only thing I’m slightly regretting after buying this was looking into a 7 blade reel. The American reel mower I have that I got this one to replace is only 14″ but cuts much better than this one. It takes forever to cut so I got this one to speed things up. All in all, not bad but I’ll likely buy a 7 blade someday

Amazing. Works better than I expected. It makes mowing the lawn a fun thing to look forward to, rather than a noisy, smelly, environmentally damaging chore.

Easy to put together and like how it cuts. Easy to operate.

Liked the way it cut, simple to use, be sure to clear cutting area of materials that could jam cutting blades, spray/oil blades after every use (last two points goes for any reel push mower), great for small yards, a lot of exercise for a large lawn

For the money, its an excellent buy. Works as advertisedI used it about four times now and enjoy it. I got rid of my lawn service, so after three times I saved money and the environment and got some exercise.

Overall happy with this purchase. Pretty easy to assemble, doesn’t require any tools. Turns out I don’t need the grass catcher so I didn’t assemble it. Sharp blades, easy to push, so far so good.

Just what I was looking for! Works great!

I had my doubts but this thing works amazingly. I have a smaller front/back yard and am able to get everything mowed very quickly. I started out using the grass catcher but lately I’ve been letting the cut grass lay on top of the lawn to capture some of those nutrients. I’ve been comparing my lawn to my next door neighbors who use a gas powered mower and I think mine looks shorter and cleaner. I have mine set to the lowest grass cutting setting and it works great! Before my son was born my wife was using the mower to cut the grass as well. That gives you an idea of the ease of operation of this machine. I love that it’s so light weight and hardly takes up any space. I have mine hanging up on my garage wall. Would definitely recommend and purchase another one.

Light, easy to handle, perfectly suited to my needs.

Love it! Super light weight and for someone like me who can’t lift too heavy, it’s just perfect! It cuts the grass nicely and even has different heights for the grass. Love the manual mower!

Love this item did the job good.

Works just ok but that may be due to high weed content of our lawn. Basket is problematic
