The drill lever handle was so easy to install. It took just two minutes to install. It is by far much better than the old latch type that you would place at the top of door. With the old latch type a child could place a chair next to the door and unlatch the door whereas with the drill lever this won’t happen.

I installed it on my bedroom door, following the directions to the t, including the super cleaning. After it was all said and done I left the door alone for nearly 36 hours. The product worked great, for about three weeks, then it started coming off. After a month my 18 month old pulled down on the know and the whole thing popped off. We’re in a rent house and I was really excited, and loved it while it worked, it’s just a shame about the adhesive.

The product is just ok. I have a 2 1/2 year old and it keeps them out but the adhesive is not very strong and mechanism seems a little cheap.

It was really simple to use. Just make sure you have alcohol wipes to clean the surface area. They’re really bulky, but they work really well.

We have a lever handle to our basement and our 2.5 year old figured out how to lock it– NOT cool when you’re downstairs and he beats you upstairs. We tried this product and while it doesn’t help with the locking part, he has left it alone now because of the lock. We showed him that only Mommy and Daddy lock it and it seems to be working. It was easy to install and it’s been useful. It took awhile to get used to the thought that red = open and green = locked, but we are used to it now!
