Our camping lantern died during our last camping trip. We decided to give this one a try. We were not disappointed.

I use this light all the time when I’m out in the driveway working on the truck or in the garage and I need a spot work light

I bought this light for my husband , he’s a ryobi tool collector. He loves it and uses it all the time.

I got two of these for emergencies – they aren’t really that bright, but good enough for when the power goes out. I also made sure there was a USB port, for charging phones during the outage. I compared the power inverter and other lights; this one had both.

Good, convenient light, and the USB charging port is a great bonus.

A nice bright light, replaces the earlier model. I taped aluminum foil to one side to reflect and brighten the light (keep from blinding me) and added a handle. See previous review for pics.

I needed a light for when storms come and power outage occurs. Bonus is this device can also charge my cell phone.

The on/off button is cheap, and a handle to carry it would help. But it is very bright and lasts very long

The light is bright and handy to use. It charged my phone great also. I was surprised that the battery did not last longer than 4 hrs though, could have been that battery. Good buy.

I bought this for at the bonfire. It’s great to have 2 settings. Low setting for normal times then go bright when pouring shots.

This was exactly what I was looking for to take camping and have around for emergencies. I was first looking at USB power supply tools, but saw this multipurpose light with a USB charger and was sold. It’s almost perfect, with only downside being one amp max output from the USB port (per manual). I haven’t tested this, and don’t know exactly what would happen (probably generate excess heat and potentially shorten the life), but taking Ryobi’s word on it. This should work for most phones and other small devices, but limits tablet charging capability.

I bought this light a couple of months ago. I was pleasantly surprised to see how long it last on the 1.5 amp battery. I use it to light up my shed. It is super bright and has a great USB feature. I love it and use it every day.

We purchased the Ryobi Cordless Area Light to take camping and compare with a traditional fuel-based lantern. We loved it and will be replacing all our lanterns with these lights! It’s light is brighter and lasts longer with a fully-charged battery!
