This is the first light I have ever seen where the manufacturer GROSSLY UNDERESTIMATED the LUMENS (Brightness) ! In my opinion, manufacturers almost alway over estimate the actual lumens. Ryobi says this spotlight has over 2500 Lumens which is TRUE but is grossly underestimated.FYI, Ryobi claims their 18V P721 work light is over 2400 Lumens, which I believe maybe a little higher than it actually is.I compared the two lights, the spotlight ON LOW is MANY TIMES BRIGHTER than the work light is on HIGH, and on HIGH this spotlight is maybe 10 times brighter (hard to be objective or accurate when there is no comparison at all) and on top of that the center spot is even far brighter. This spotlight is far brighter than 2500 lumens, unfortunately I do not have any light that is brighter than 4550 lumens (300w bulb) to compare it to, but the spotlight is many times brighter than the 300w bulb, note the spotlight concentrates the light in one area where the bulb sends its light out in all directions, so they are not really comparable, except to say the actual light on the wall at 10 feet from the spotlight is many many times brighter than the 4500 lumens light bulb light on the wall and the 300w bulb is also far brighter on the wall than the 2500 Ryobi work light is.
