It features the patented Qwik Lock Filter Fastening System that makes installing or removing your filter quick, easy and secure. This is my second RIDGID shop vac & I must say I like it better than my 14 Gal. You can pull this sucker all across the house and it works just as well as the larger capacity versions. The one thing drawback to the 6 Gal. (which seems to be a common theme as I read this in many reviews prior to purchasing) is the short length of the power cord. Overall great shop vac & I would definitely recommend.
