The 8 in. x 8 in. measurement in the description of this frame may be a bit misleading. The actual outside measurement is closer to 14 1/2 x 14 1/2. The inside measurement is closer to 11 1/2 x 11 1/2. It is the matted opening that remains for which the 8 in. x 8 in. measurement refers to AND there is a second mat included for a 7 1/2 in. x 7 1/2 in. opening.The frame arrived very well packaged in heavy cardboard, paper, bubble wrap and its in-store cardboard box. The cardboard box also serves as a template for setting the screws to mount the frame.The mounts consist of two plastic inserts with saw-tooth cutouts to accept the screw heads. (Screws and anchors are not included).The miter joints are very tight. The back panel is held in place by 4 clips.All in all, a quality frame.

I really like the clean look of this frame. It looks solid, and the color is nice. It also doesn’t LOOK cheap! Installation was very easy, and it really brought my picture to a new level. The only issue I could see is that there were some “flaws” in the corners of the wooden frame part. Once hung, you can not see them, but I did notice them. Overall, A– for this!

This is a beautiful solid black wood frame for displaying a square photo or picture. The backing has swivel tabs so it is easy to remove and to reattach. A double white mat is included. I highly recommend this picture frame. I intend to buy several more of this frame. I will attach a picture of it as I am using it. I had difficulty taking a picture of it as the glass reflects the flash.

This frame is absolutely beautiful. The black edging doesn’t smudge like some other frames I have used in the past. The mat that was included in the frame was very nice and wasn’t flimsy like some others. It was easy to hang because of the included hanging guide on the back.
