Connect to more peripherals with the Thunderbolt Dock with Thunderbolt 4 Cable from OWC. Designed to provide extra ports and power delivery for plenty of peripherals, this dock features a three Thunderbolt 4 and three USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A ports with 15 and 1.5W of power delivery, respectively. Peripherals can also be connected using a 1.5W USB 2.0 Type-A and 3.5mm combo audio port. Access compatible memory cards using the SD card reader slot, or connect to a wired network using the RJ45 Gigabit Ethernet port.
Bus powered, this dock features a Thunderbolt 4 host connection as well as an input port for the included AC adapter. When using AC power, the dock can deliver up to 90W to a connected host device. Use the Thunderbolt 4 ports to daisy chain devices or connect displays, including up to two 4k displays or a single 5k, 6k, or 8k monitor. The OWC Thunderbolt Dock is compatible with any Mac computer with a Thunderbolt 3 port and running macOS 11.1 Big Sur or any Windows computer with an available Thunderbolt 4 port. A Thunderbolt 4 cable comes included with the dock.

Je possde ce dock que depuis quelques jours mais jusqu’ maintenant je n’ai eu aucun problme connecter mes disques durs externes mon ordinateur en passant par le dock. En USB3 mon taux de transfert tourne autour de 185Mo/s, 195Mo/s en lecture. 107Mo/s 221Mo/s avec ma carte SD.

The Thunderbolt plugs FALL out of this product’s poorly designed jacks. I’m disgusted with OWC which requires me to spend $31 to augment their product’s jacks with an OWC band aid (a plastic piece + screw) for each jack to compensate for THEIR terrible design. One would think an honorable company would send them out to customers for free! Note the small hole over each jack to accept the screw to hold the plastic piece in place.

read the fine print before purchasing, the new 16 Apple MBP laptops require 140watts of power, this is not the dock to match to that requirement! This dock is designed to provide up to 96 watts of power, thus great for the 2019 16 laptops, and any other laptop requiring less than 96watts. Yes, I own one of these, works fine on my 2019 16 MBP, but when I go to upgrade to the current 16 – you can be sure I will sell this dock with it…
