Description
The 32GB DDR3 1333 MHz SO-DIMM Memory Kit (4 x 8GB, Mac) from OWC is designed for select iMac models, and is also compatible with certain Intel/AMD processor-based PC laptops. These modules are dual rank, non-parity, non-ECC, and have a CAS latency of 9. They fully meet Apple’s specifications and are fully compliant with JEDEC specifications, document JESD79-3B. They are also RoHS certified.

Not really a fan of OWC components. Memory is such a *crucial* component of a computer, I prefer a more reputable brand. But in a pinch, OWC memory does work well enough.

I did not notice any clear improvement passing from 8GB to 16GB of RAM on a 2012 MacBook Pro. The installation was successful and easy. Not sure if it’s the low quality of the product but I didn’t see any clear improvement in speed.
