Works better than expected. So easy, press on, select “Frozen Drink Smoothies”, fill 1/3 with frozen fruit, 1/3 full almond milk or fat free milk, push the button and walk away. It will do everything and shut off in about two mins. Perfect Smoothie! I use it everyday.

Although I can’t speak to the longevity of this blender, my initial impression is very positive. It does everything I need it to do, appears to be very well made, and is easy to clean. I especially like the glass blending jar and the easy to use soft touch keys. No operator’s manual was included, but the unit is intuitive, and is very simple to use. As a bonus, I have one less operator’s manual to lose. So far, so good!

Didn’t realize how much I loved this blender until it was gone. You never know how good you have it till your blender is with someone else. I couldn’t get out of bed the first week. I have been using this blender now since February – I make a fresh vegetable and fruit smoothie (or I call it a chunky as I prefer NOT perfectly smooth) every day – 48 oz of it — sometimes more than once a day. Since I make more than one serving at a time, I break up the process. I have found that the trick is to put heavier items on the top, so I put 6 oz of water (or juice) in first, with chia seeds, shredded unsweetened coconut, and ground flax seeds, pineapple, 3 cups of spinach – blend or chop till desired thickness – then add raspberries, blueberries, banana, lots of baby cut carrots and then strawberries, As i said I prefer it chunky, so I do it a bit differently by using the “chop” button, which uses the reversing function. to the consistency I prefer. If you use the “smoothie” function you get the reversing action that then turns into a high-speed one-way action, giving you a very smooth product. I had forgotten where i bought this and have been looking for another one as a gift. Now I know. Love the glass jar.

Love this ‘dual direction’ blender for specific recipes…. ie; avocado citrus dressing, salsas, mixing dry spices. It fits regular sized mouth Mason / Ball jars so you can process and store all in the same container.

I have an older Oster blender that was wearing out, so I bought this one (loved my old one). I love this blender’s features (frozen drink option to make smoothies is the best), but the base has a cheep chrome-looking cover and it’s TERRIBLY LOUD. I have to put ear plugs in when I use it for frozen drinks. My older one had a metal base that insulated the noise much better. It’s ridiculously loud. I would not buy this again (even though it blends very well).
