Sturdy, doesn’t drip but it is very heavy and you had better remove the lid before pouring or have a hand on it so it doesn’t smash your favorite tea cup. We have it in our camper and use it everyday we are out.

I was looking for the largest cast iron teapot I could find. I never thought I’d find one here. I had a 30 oz pot purchased from a high end stores that was built with a little more quality but for the value this thing is excellent. I still can’t manage to pour from this beast without spilling tea down the front but I don’t know that that’s a design flaw. I’m pretty satisfied with my purchase overall.
