   We have had a lot of square metal channels to cut and doing it by hand with a hacksaw was wearing my husband out. We decided to see if we could find a way to use one of our existing power tools to cut them faster and better. We found this specialized and fairly rare blade nine inches in diameter with a 1 inch arbor. Commercially, we sense that the blade is primarily used with a high end cut off saw. We are now using this blade to cut all our metal projects, and we could not be more pleased. It cuts so easily. The cut is extremely smooth. And most shocking to us, the metal and the blade stay cool. Based on the number of cuts we have already made, along with looking at the condition of the blade, we are predicting that it will stay sharp and cutting smooth for a long time.

   I ordered this blade and really don’t do much metal work but wanted to test the ability of This blade. I must say that it did not disappoint. I do some work with hardi backer and dura-rock usually cutting it with a 4.5″ grinder with a diamond blade being really messy and awkward to cut. I used this 7 14″ metal blade and it made my life a whole lot simpler. I am glad the idea to try it came to me because my job just got a whole lot easier. Thanks!

   The Milwaukee brand is absolutely wonderful. What an awesome blade! My husband wears the other brands out much more quickly than these. They seem to last so much longer and he says that they stay very sharp for a really long time.You can’t go wrong with this blade as it is exactly what is advertised.    Blade cuts through 14 gauge steel like butter.This Milwaukee 10 inch metal cutting blade cuts through 14 gauge steel like butter. It easily handles the steel cutting task.There is minimal sparking, very little sparking occurs.The noise is not too loud, you can hear it, but it is really not that much louder than cutting wood.One should never become complacent when cutting steel, but this blade makes it so easy that you are almost reminded of cutting wood.The ends of the cut metal have almost no burrs on them.We give it 5 stars since it works very well for the task of metal cutting.

   Milwaukee 7-1/4 in. x 48 Carbide Teeth Metal Cutting Circular Saw Bladeit was so easy to use this saw blade I am so happy with it. It has worked great for me so far and the next time I need it I know I can count on it to work great again. When using it on a 5/8” arbor on my angle grinder it worked perfectly with no complaints whatsoever.I cut out a frozen section of black pipe and it cut through it like a hot knife through butter. When I used it to cut some 1/8” thick steel tubing and I just cut a bit slower and this blade worked great. I have nothing but good things to say about Milwaukee Tools.I highly recommend this saw blade for most of your metal cutting needs.

   The Milwaukee 7 1/4 inch x 48 carbide teeth metal cutting circular saw blade with 20 mm arbor appears to be a heavy duty quality saw blade. My husband could not use it because of the 20 mm arbor. It doesn’t fit any of his Ryobi circular saws. He stated that if he had a grommet, he probably would have been able to use it. My suggestion is to pay attention to the arbor sizes when purchasing saw blades.

   The Milwaukee 7-1/4 x 48 carbide teeth metal cutting circular saw blade with the 20 mm arbor required an arbor adapter to fit my Skilsaw. The saw and blade then made a very easy job of make angle cuts on the aluminum hand rail. Since the rail was to be used on steps ,I has to cut the ends to a particular angle. I had previously used a hack saw to cut the angles, but, it was difficult to securely hold the rail while cutting the aluminum. This blade amounted in a circular made the job extremely simple and more accurate, using only a simple clamp to hold the rail down.

   I have been a builder and remodeler for 50 years, and as such I have had many occasions where I had to cut metals. But while I could use other tools like a grinder or others, often it is easier if I an just use the tools I already have at hand. For example, a miter saw. That’s why I like this MILWAUKEE 10 IN. X 50 CARBIDE TEETH METAL CUTTING CIRCULAR SAW BLADE. I recently used it to cut some stainless steel all thread, and it cuts cleaner and easier than a grinder.

   I picked up this blade not so much for metal work because I don’t do much metal work but to try it for quality in my 10″ miter saw. I figured if it cut metal with no problem it may last longer on wood. The teeth on this blade are not ripping teeth and gave me some doubts but after trying the blade on some wood trim it performed very well. I Think I can honestly say it outperformed all other blades I have ever used. I am very happy with my decision to use it.

    I discovered after I received this blade that it is rated for use with a saw having a maximum rotational speed of 2000 RPM. I had planned to mount it on my miter saw and to use it to cut 1/8” steel angle for a project I’ve started. Unfortunately, my saw has a no-load rotation speed of 3200 RPM, which exceeds the maximum recommended speed by 50%. I looked at the specs on several miter saws, both corded and battery powered, and all of them had rotational speeds in the 3000-4000 RPM range. And its diameter is too large for use on my table saw, which can be operated at speeds below 2000 RPM. I contacted Milwaukee customer support and I’m waiting to hear if they have a recommendation for a miter saw that can be used with the blade. §In the meantime, I can report that this is a beautifully crafted saw blade. The kerf is 3/32”. I appreciate that the product package can be used as protective storage for the blade when it’s not in use. §Professionally made in China.

    This is an awesome blade if you cut a lot of aluminum. I swapped it out on my table saw but don’t do a whole lot of cuts generally. It might make more sense on a shop saw in a metal shop.Blade is a steel reinforced blade and does make very nice clean cuts. If I could change anything about the product it’d be greener packaging, as it’s encased in the usual non recyclable plastic stuff that’s also hard to even cut the blade out of.

    This blade is a beast. I’ve been using this metal cutting blade a lot lately and its sliced through every piece of steel and metal I’ve put in front of it. Supper fast and smooth cuts that leaves a mirror finish every time. Milwaukee did a really good jobe with these blades. I’m really surprised that I am able to make so many cuts through such heavy metal without any damage to the blade. Well done

    The Milwaukee 6 1/2 inch 48 carbide teeth metal cutting circular saw blade is well made and designed to get the job done. It is rated for cutting steel and aluminum in medium 1/16 to 3/16 thickness. I found it to adequate for the job and easy to work with. I especially liked the packaging that provides easy removal from the plastic sleeve and easy storage after use.

    Here is a solution for getting straight cuts in metal. This blade is designed to be used in a cordless circular saw. The blade comes in mutiple arbor sizes: 5/8″ & 20mm. The teeth are designed for cutting medium to thick metal up to 1/2″ thick but will also be usable for aluminum and copper.Due to the design of the blade it should be used dry and will give nice clean cuts on bolts as well as sheet stock.

    Milwaukee carbide saw blade is all that and a bag of chips. Worth the extra $ for a milwaukee blade 48 teeth will make that clean cut that you always need. The blade will cut through wood, steel, aluminum. You can use it on wood but might wear out the blade. It will cut through plastic and copper as well but this blade is meant for medium metals and other applications listed on the packaging

    This 12 inch 60 tooth blade works great in my saw for cutting aluminum extrusion. The cut is clean and straight and requires very little deburring. The carbide teeth are all attached straight and securely. The 1 inch arbor fits tight in the blade so there is no wobble. Make sure to check the speed of your saw so the blade doesn’t exceed the recommended RPMs.

    I received the MILWAUKEE 6-1/2 IN. X 48 CARBIDE TEETH METAL CUTTING CIRCULAR SAW BLADE to test for The Home Depot. I used it with my circular saw to cut standing seam roofing for my pergola and it worked great! Ran through the pieces like butter. What I really liked is the packaging. It is perforated for opening so that it can be used for storage as well. Simple but a great idea.

    I must confess while I have used a circular saw to build my garage storage shelves, I don’t know much about the different size blades that are available. When I ordered this 6-7/8 inch blade, I expected it to fit what I considered a normal sized consumer saw, I was wrong. After going through three different brands of saws, including a cordless, I had no luck mounting the blade. As my neighbor mentioned it doesn’t say on the packaging what type of saw you need for this blade. The packaging does say 6-7/8 inch with an arbor (center opening) of 20 mm. We both thought it would replace a 7 inch blade. Maybe he and I are the only ones that think that way, I surely hope so.What I can tell you about the blade is that it comes in an easy to open blister pack. As it does not include any kind of tooth guard you’ll need this blister pack to store your blade. Despite being a 36 tooth blade the packaging claims it will cut plastic and fiberglass. Usually these material require a blade with 50 to 60 tooth. It includes 4 laser cut vibration slots, and the Colbalt infused tungsten carbide tip allows for cooler running. A close inspection of the blade reveals nicks and scratch marks behind most of the blade tips varying from almost non-existent to heavy. I would not expect this to have any impact on cutting but was surprised at the randomness of the markings. The packaging claims it is a metal cutting blade, but it is only stated on the back side that this blade is not recommended for stainless steel. It is also only on the back that it states for “use with cordless handheld saw”. Approved metals for cutting include aluminum, copper, brass and medium metal (1/8″ – 1/4″).Before purchasing, make sure you know exactly what blade size and arbor your circular saw accepts.
