These data snips are very nice. The only issue I had is when I pulled it out of the packaging one blade had two nicks in it that had to be deburred. I like the curvey blade as it makes cutting category cable cleaner by not crushing/flattening the cable when you cut it. They cut smooth and the red over molded handle is easier on the hands than the other brand that makes the these with a yellow handle. These are noticeably weightier than the other brand I just mentioned, but that could partially be why they cut easier, more weight easier cutting. Either way, I like them and so do my coworkers, too bad we can’t walk into Home Depot and purchase these off the shelf, my local HD’s carry a good amount of M12/M18, not so much in the hand tools area. They are about $5 more than the yellow handle data snips too.

the one thing they are not telling you is how well it works. I am shocked that milwaukee of all companies screwed up snips. So you asking what the problem is. Well we all cut the sheath of the cable with our snips well Jonard and milwaukee snips have the same issue of one blade being serrated while the other blade is not. Which makes the snips useless or very hard to manage while doing the task of stripping the sheath off the cable. On the plus side the side is razor sharp and i wonder when it will dull stripping cable is still a little harder but for the mean time it works fine. I just wish i had a warning they pulled the same thing jonard did. I these dull fast i will be pretty made and go back to fluke or greenlee snips.

Durable, easy to use, sharp. Small size fits in pockets easily. These are nice electrician and general shears that will last a lifetime and the warranty backs that up.Assembled from all steel with a rubberized grip, these fit well in the palm.In my opinion, the finger holes are way too small. I cannot get my thumb in the hole, nor can I fit more than one finger in the rubberized grip. With gloves on it’s not possible to use the holes.Since you can palm it it works fine for most cutting, but I’d have preferred it actually fit large sized hands/fingers with the finger holes.Since it’s well made cuts well and is super strong I’d recommend it, just know that it runs small in size.

This Milwaukee punch down kit is pretty handy. The round handle is pretty confortable and the led lights are definately an added bonus. The only problem i have had with it is the blade falls out unexpextedly after punching down keystone jacks it falls out sometime. It just twists in place and after punching down and pulling up tool it sometimes twists and falls out. Other than that i like it so far.

This is a quality pair of electrician’s scissors. I watched my brother-in-law, who’s an electrician use a pair these while installing Cat5 cabling in my office. I am adding more Cat5 for a printer and network switch. These scissors make removing the shielding easy. They are sharp, heavy-duty and the handle fits my hand well making it easy to control the amount of pressure I put on it. I can see several jobs these will work on. I recommend these scissors.

Very sharp. Feels good in hand. Quite versatile. It cuts through wire without issues. I was able to get a feel well enough to cut through the sheathing/shielding without cutting or even slicing the plenum cover the copper. It gave me enough feel that I can cut the plenum without notching the copper. So I have to say I can easily recommend these snips.

At the store the Initial feeling in the ha d was that they were a little bulky. However once used in the field the extra bulk I the handle proved to be better for additional leverage when cutting thicker material. I would recomend these snips to friends and colleagues…

The Home Depot and Milwaukee have a great set of small snips in this set !The blades appear to be Cadmium plated for rust free use ! The thumb hole isof a good size for adult hands. The finger side is elongated and molded in a Polytype of plastic for a great grip (see photos) and leverage ! The blades have shaped area for cutting larger wire and stripping insulation off wire ! I really like the qualityand comfortable feel of them !!
