A quality made and extremely durable tool from Milwaukee. Exceptional fit and finish that is standard on all hand tools from this manufacturer. The Maxbite curved jaw locking pliers have a nice cushioned rubber grip that eases fatigue while using these pliers and the ability to adjust tension using the patented Torque Lock end gives you greater leverage after pliers are locked onto a bolt, etc. to helps prevent slippage. I was able to grip onto a severely rusted nut without slipping that I would get with an adjustable wrench. They make a nice addition to the Milwaukee tools I already own and will be replacing a 10 inch Vice Grip plier that I own.

Nice set of locking pliers. The ability to tighten them with the adjustable torque lock on the end sets them apart from the others. It seems like a small detail, but how nice to have. Although you might not need or use it all the time, when you need it, you need it. The coated pliers are easier to handle and also easier to unlock. The quality of these pliers stands out too. Very happy to have these added to my tool box.

Excellent pair of locking pliers. Pliers with vice-like grips are indispensable, and these are a great pair. The size is easily adjustable by turning the threaded adjuster in one handle. One can also insert a screwdriver into the hole in the adjuster screw for even more torque. It goes to a massive 2-1/8 inches maximum size. It is easy to grip even 2x lumber, pipes, right down to small nails and screws.Opening the pliers is easy to do and can be done with one hand. I cannot say the same for my Gedore pair of vice-grips as those needs both hands to release the grip.Opening and closing them uses a clever set of levers to snap closed and open again. Hard to describe.I was easily able to remove a broken screw by gripping the ¼” of screw that protruded from the wood and then rotate it out all the way.I was also able to pull an old rusty nail out of some wood that would not budge using a pry bar.Highly recommended.Limited Lifetime warrantyMade in Taiwan

10 in. Gripped Curved Jaw Locking Pliers with MaxBiteI really appreciate all my Milwaukee hand tools with their comfort grip handles and bright clear markings and these locking pliers are another professional grade quality tool. When you want to bite down hard on a pipe, bolt or anything you need to break free this is the tool to grab first. Heavy duty hardened jaws, big teeth with a geometric design that makes the jaws grip and bite down even tighter as you push-rotate the tool to loosen that frozen bolt. The red thumb screw mechanism on the end is their new “MaxBite” design to make full adjustments while you loosen or tighten before setting the locking lever. It works faster and easier than the old tried and true knurled knob design. What do you do if you lock on a bolt with these grips as tight as you can and they still should start to slip? Just stick a screw driver shaft into the hole on the end of the thumbscrew and turn some more to get an even tighter bite on your work. This really is a beast of a locking plier. After using these the first time I’ll never go back to my old style vice grips.

Great update of a tool classic.Basic construction is comparable to the classic. Nice upgrades to the classic: cushion grips and the Max Bite adjustment. Instead of a knurled knob, the Max Bite tab makes it easier to twist with your hand, or you can really torque it up by inserting a screwdriver in hole in the tab.The operation of the pliers is very smooth, as I would expect from Taiwan-made tools. Gives a positive grip on everything.Although the release method is easy, I’m still not used to it. I keep trying to hit a nonexistent release lever. I’ll get over it eventually.

These pliers saved my day, a copper screw got rounded, i filed it down with a gradual flat metal filer to bring out the screw closer to original screw look, then put this awesome tool on it, locked on very very hard, then torqued even more on the end with screwdriver, & was easily able to have the torque needed to unscrew the screw that stood out as a big problem without this amazingly good tool. Will buy another for home use, & one as gift. Looks real good too, will stick more with the Milwaukee brand after using this incredibly good tool.
