The M18 FUEL 7 in. Variable Speed Polisher is the world’s first cordless full-size rotary polisher. By harnessing the power, performance and run-time of M18 FUEL technology, this tool delivers corded performance that allows users to power through the most demanding applications. At more than 1 lbs. lighter than corded, and the ability to deliver total control through a variable speed dial and trigger, the new M18 FUEL Polisher frees users from the extra work, distractions, paint damage, and inconvenience caused by cords. Paired with M18 XC 5.0 batteries, the M18 FUEL Polisher can complete a full size car on 1-charge when working on moderate to good paint. The M18 FUEL Polisher is equipped with a rubber over mold front housing to protect the paint from scratches in use as well as a removable dust cover to protect the motor and electronics from wool fibers and residue. The new tool is designed to distribute more of its weight over the pad, providing natural pressure on the surface area and more.

Fantastic tool, quick shipping, no regrets. You definitely also want the M12 polisher to go with this. The M18 is great for the big open areas, and it’s hard to beat the M12 in the tighter spots, or just to work on trouble spots. Very happy with my purchases.

I use the polisher for maintenance of the finish on my motor home. It’s easy to use and control because of the speed adjust capabilities.

Random Orbital polishers are superior for compounding and polishing. They work the chemicals for a better longer lasting finish. However, you will be surprised at how nice this 7 inch cordless polisher feels in your hands and the ease of operation it yields. 4.5 Stars!

Not sure yet my battery only last a short time when I try to use it.

I bought this polisher mainly to polish my boat without dragging cords everywhere around the water. I can definitely say I am NOT disappointed. Plenty of power with long battery life.

I’m an automotive painter who got tired of dragging a corded buffer around the shop. I can also use it out on the parking lot. No need to bring the car into the shop. I have a tool bag with all my buffing supplies as well as buffer. I love this buffer. It’s light, lasts a long time, and it’s quiet. I can wetsand and buff a whole hood on a little more than one battery (I have three batteries). That’s compound, swirl remover, then polish. Most buffing jobs though are small areas and the battery will last all day. To complement this buffer get the Milwaukee mini M12 buffer as well for denibbing.

Only regret is I wish I had this buffer when I was detailing professionally!!Awesome tool!!More than enough power.Weight is properly proportioned (even with large battery packs).Used a 9.0 HD battery and I ran it for about 46 minutes (stopping for 45 sec. increments to apply compound period.

Right when I picked it up for home use, having a ton of milwaukee batteries already I figured just to get it. I had to test it out, the tail lights on my old lawn truck, a 98 chevy, had been neglected for years.

This works great. Lasts a long time on battery, i only did the hood and trunk but i still had 2 cells left on the battery. I own a large car, but with two batteries, you can easily swap them and be 100% cordless. So you don’t have to worry about a cord hitting your car. It works great, and the variable speed gives you lots of options to get the right finish.

You don’t have to mess with a cord.working on messed up clear coat.

Haven’t had a chance to put it to good use but with the couple times I ran it, it was awesome. Good power and well balanced

Amazing tool! Battery time was a concern, so I paired this with two 9ah batteries. Ended up with about 4 hours of restoration work.Would definitely suggest this tool for correction/restoration. Speed settings are perfect. Just be careful, it is a rotary polisher.

Great Rotary polisher, wish it was dual action but as an experienced paint corrector I have no problem getting excellent results. Love th cordless factor. Would be nice if Milwaukee had a wider range of pads, but other vendors supply what I need. Don’t hesitate to buys this polisher. Make sure you have a t least two 5.0 batteries if your doing heavy corrections and polishing jobs.
