The industrial-strength Milwaukee Cordless Rotary Hammer Kit includes two powerful batteries, a charging station, depth stop, and it’s own heavy duty carrying case. This is a technologically advanced rotary hammer on steroids. Actually, it’s a very precise and rock solid tool. The M18 is very adept at breaking through anything that gets between you and your project. I love it. There are two speeds: 1. Powerful 2. Mega-Powerful. A secure grip makes it very comfortable to hold onto even in the heat of the summer when sweat is pouring off you. Very nice.

Had this drill shipped and did not read that needed SRS drill bits so had to order some as the only ones I had were larger shaft, but well worth the wait to use this great drill. Has lots of power with the 9.0 amp hours battery with about 35% more power than other batteries I have. Tried out on concrete block, concrete block with filled core with concrete and on wood, all drilled or hammer drilled with very little effort on my part. Drilled some hole in studs and rafters with very little effort and made a quick job of that job, after years of heavy corded large drills doing that job, this makes it much easier and quicker. Thanks Milwaukee Engineers for another great product.

The drill Is awesome! Los of power and vacuum is very effective and easily detachable when not needed in tight spaces. The vacuum also doesn’t take away to much battery life! It’s a great tool perfect for overhead drilling

This combination Rotary and hammer drill quite possibly could be the only drill you need on larger tough jobs especially at job sites with no electrical hook up there yet.It had no problem delivering the performance I would have expected from a corded drill. On its hammer function it had no problems with Clay Brick, Cinder Block or 60 Year cured hard concrete.I didn’t count the number of holes but it had no problem installing hangers for conduit on a rewiring project using masonry anchors with the hammer feature and on just Rotary it easily drilled thru sistered 2X12’s to pass the conduit thru. The job was about 6 hours and it still had power in the battery. On the bigger tough stuff this may be the only drill you need and it has the added advantage of not needing to string a power cord to where you need to work. It is quite a sizable tool and a bit heavier than I thought it would be, but Ill get accustomed to it.

This one’s a beast. If you need to drill concrete and want cordless convenience look no further. When you start looking at bigger tools, corded is still usually the way to go, however, Milwaukee is closing the gap on that and this is a great example. This drill eats through concrete and the battery holds up well. The performance is as good as my old corded rotary hammer, and this has better features. The anti-vibration system built into the handle does a great job of reducing wear on your hands. I used this for 20min straight drilling 3/8″ holes for fasteners into concrete without any numbness as a result. The brushless motor handled the strain well. There’s a clutch built in so if you seize, or hit mesh or rebar, it won’t snap your wrist in half. This kit comes with the drill, 2x batteries, a charger that works with M18 and M12 batteries (awesome), a depth rod, side handle, and a case.Wonderful drill and is now my go to for heavy projects.

Excellent tool, I have used it both for straight hammer chipping & hammer drilling. The AVR handle takes the edge off vibrations. The depth gage is nice for constistant results. Having two batteries keeps the work going.

The drill has a lot of power and the batteries last a long time. I use it to drill 1 inch holes through brick and block. It works as good as power drill

This is a heavy duty workhorse 18-volt cordless rotary hammer drill that not only has power but works all day on a single battery. Once again Milwaukee has produced a cordless product that I would put up against any corded hammer drill in its class. The drill has three setting, drill, rotary hammer, and hammer. It makes quick work of drilling holes in any type of material. It comes with a case, two M18 redlithium high demand 9.0 batteries, and a battery charger. The battery charge works with both M18 and M12 Milwaukee batteries. The batteries are also compatible with any other M18 Milwaukee tools. This is a great benefit when working with multiple Milwaukee tools. Once again Milwaukee has delivered a quality product that exceeds all expectations by the user. The product feels very balanced in your hands and delivers speed, power, and extended runtimes. Very pleased with his tool.

I own a polyurethane foam concrete jacking business and this tool is instrumental in the process. We use a 3/8 bit to drill hole into the concrete slab to uses as injection ports to get the foam beneath the slab to mix, expand and lift the concrete back into position. We drill holes every 6 to 8 feet on slabs as large as 60,000 sqft. but on average 3000sqft, Regardless we are drilling a lot of holes. The tool we currently use is the smaller 18v non brush-less version of this. We do have some corded units that we never use but have as backup. The older model was able to drill up to 30 holes in 4″ thick concrete and about 20 in 6″ thick concrete on a single charge from a 5.0amp hr pack. This new version blows away the old version in terms of performance. Last job with a 4″ slab we were able to drill 50 holes on a single charge before we quit for the day. This tool does all the work, we put little to no pressure while drilling letting the weight of the tool drive in the bit. we only keep it straight. It works better than any version corded or cordless that we have used before it. We still have out old Milwaukee on standby but i don’t think we will be getting it out as much now that this is here. I honestly have no complaints. The anti vibe handle keeps your hand from going numb, the dial is positive to click into settings and each setting works and indicated. This is a professional tool. if you have a use for it like i do then do yourself a favor and pick one up. It comes with a rapid charger and two 9.0hr batteries. Well worth every penny.

I love construction, design and inventing. I love helping other people. I live in a wonderful neighborhood but these folks aren’t rich. I have come up with a couple of guys with construction abilities who are retired like me who love to do things for others. We have added on to or constructed decks for folks who could not afford to get it done. Due to city codes the decks built on concrete slabs must be anchored. We had one man who had access to a hammer drill on the first one we did. It took a long time to get the anchor bolt holes drilled. I decided to order this one and OH MY. It put the one we had borrowed to shame. After ordering a really good set of drill bits we got started. We all stood there in amazement. It was as easy as pie. I could not believe that drilling holes into concrete could be as easy as drilling a hold in a 1 x 1 piece of wood. All the holes were drilled in the time it took the one we borrowed to drill a couple. I am not all up into tech talk but I can tell you this is a gem of a hammer drill. No great noise, vibration or strain. The power is there to drill with easy. The long lasting batteries are the best. Spring is here and I can’t wait to help our neighbors all have a great patio. Summer will be full of helping others without worrying about how to get all the anchor bolts in. Again, I am amazed. I own a number of Milwaukee tools but they have out done themselves on this one. Love the carrying case to hold the drill, charger and both batteries. Room for my bits and a easy carry handle. Great storage, well thought out. You will have to have SDS or SDS plus bits only. SDS Max does not work in this unit. There are no bits in this set. Bits are installed quickly and securely and easy release. I just can’s say enough about this. Well worth the price. Makes short work of any job. Heavy duty, professional grade, and a well thought out piece of construction heaven.

This rotary hammer is a powerful monster. It is hard to believe growing up with all corded tools how far technology has come, and it is exemplified in this beast of a machine. My home has eight foot concrete walls bordering the property, and I wanted to install a basic gate on one end that leads out to the driveway. So with this hammer I quite effortlessly bored the holes necessary into the wall to install some anchors. This tool just pulverizes concrete. Incredible.

Ready to use right out of the box. It is replacing my corded Bosch 1-1/8 SDS plug in drill. The first two jobs I got to use it on made every dollar spent worth it. I barely have a criticism of Milwaukee M18 tools and technology. Their trim nailers haven’t been what I expected. There, a criticism! I still use them, but not for fine tuned carpentry. So, if you’re looking for a hammer drill…go for it! You won’t regret it. I got the (2) 9amp batteries, rapid charger and hard case with mine.

It took a few weeks until another job came up needing me to punch holes in hard stuff. It performed exactly what I expected. This is a beast.I think this is the largest offered in the M18 battery system. (Or close to it if not.) I like the compatibility with my smaller AH M18 batteries. This battery is large and heavy (look at pictures to compare with 5 AH and 1.5 AH). It is not great to use these batteries on mobile tools, but they run the LED flashlight a LONG time.I thought at first that the depth rod was stopped by plastic. It is pushed against plastic, but into the groves of the depth bar. As I find more an more with Milwaukee, the design is done well.See the images for the various hammer modes. There is a wiggle between the grip and motor unit, which isolates vibration a decent amount. This also has slots to hand on the vacuum accessory to collect droppings.LED light is really low on the body. That was weird looking at first, but in use it is great. You do not accidentally block it was various side grip positions.I’ve used the high end brand AC powered drills of this size. This is only slightly heavier, due to the battery, but drilling feels very similar. I’m going to be selling my AC hammer drill.
