I’ve always liked Milwaukee power tools. After getting this set, I LOVE Milwaukee power tools. The cordless impact driver is what seals the deal for me. This is how screws and bolts are meant to be tightened and loosened. And given that this thing is 18v, the battery lasts a long time, and its got POWER!The driver is 1/4 inch, but with any converter you could plug any socket you would need for working on cars, or building things.The drill is absolutely PERFECT for around the house repairs and installations. I recently used it to assemble some metal furniture and the clutch on the drill makes it easy to know when screws are secure. Naturally, the clutch is adjustable and lockable too so you can stop using the hammer function if you wanted.The charger is much quicker than I would have imagined and is fairly compacted and easy to read. And the carrying bag makes it easy to store out of the way when not using it and take to and from a worksite.

I am a audio and electrical technician. I use my tools on a daily basis, and they have with stood a lot of abuse from falling off ladders and scaffolding. I have yet to find any thing to bog the drill down, not even 1” auger bits or 3/4” masonry bits. The impact is incredible, you can drive 1/2” x 6” lag bolts, with out pre drilling.If you want top quality, go Milwaukee.

I farm so there isn’t anything i don’t get into. Fabrication to demolition. the batteries lase pretty good, but the re charge time is very short considering how long the battery lasts. Its great to still have Good Reliable and heavy duty tools that are available in this cheep throw away world!!

These tools do the job, reliably. I have used mine to drill 3500 1/4 inch holes in HARD concrete with NO problems. Batteries lasted a LOT longer than expected. My 4 inch hole saw boggs it down a bit but then again that is a lot of work. The lighted trigger is very useful in low light.

Best combo pack on the market for still having brushes. Tried the others, but grip and control are the best. The extra $100 for the bigger batteries goes the distance. I have the Rigid brand also. Tried the Dewalt and Makita. Milwaukee has better trigger control with the impact driver. Haven’t use the drill much. But loaned to a friend and he doesn’t want to give it back, because his Dewalt went down. Price is a little high. Could be $50 cheaper. Good thing I get my veteran discount.
