I own a junk yard or better called an auto wrecking and recycling yard. We have bought every good quality battery powered reciprocating saw made and broke them all. we gave up on cordless saws until i bought this M-28 We useevery day and my guys fight over who gets to use it next. The battery life is unbelievable and the recharge time is less than 15 minutes. This thing rocks. I’ve cut down a 6″ diameter tree with it. Cuts through small stuff very easily. Cutting up huge cardboard boxes is actually kind of fun. Being cordless is great because it’s simple to take with me. Loaned it to my girlfriend who cut up a tree that fell in her backyard.

This came in a set I purchased many years back. The V28 / M28 batteries are very expensive and only 3amp hour. I will say though this saw kills everything you through at it. The new line is all 18volts so now and not much support or demand for these anymore. All the 28 volt tools were very well made but they did have some batteries issues at first and the M28 batteries are still available but very expensive.

I recently pulled an engine and transmission out of a truck at a junkyard and I only used one battery to cut off the entire front clip of an F150 including the fully boxed frame in about an hour. With the good Milwaukee blades this is unstoppable. It preforms better than my plug in DeWalt.
