This kettle is excellent. There are blue lights around the bottom that turn on when it is in use. You can see the water begin to just bubble around the edges and then continue on to a full rolling boil. It works well, looks great. Big enough to hold two pots of tea worth of water. Pours well without dripping, and lid opens far enough that cleaning is easy. There are also great safety features like automatic shut off.

I was under the impression from the description that the light would change colors from from blue,green,orange red when the waster is hot, but only is blue all the time? Is it supposed to change color ? Other than that it works fine.
