I’ve used a number of different brands of blank CD & DVD recordable discs over the years, including some blank CD-R discs whose foil data layer visably come apart after burning, even never having been read in a CD drive! There’s some real junk out there! My previous DV-R was a Pioneer, and Maxell DVD-RW were the only blanks that would (always) reliably work with that unit. I only use Maxell recordable discs, as I’ve never had a problem with them, and luckily for me, B&H carries them at a very good price, usually about half the price of the major electronic’s chains, if those chains even stock Maxell recordable discs. (Often they don’t…) I don’t use any other brand. Dave K Lawrenceville, GA
