The XWT11Z is powered by a Makita brushless motor for longer run time, increased power and speed, and longer tool life. 3 speeds with reverse rotation auto-stop mode stops rotation in 2-seconds when fastener is adequately loosened, making the XWT11Z ideal for automotive, installation, and fabrication trades. Its part of Makita’s expanding 18-Volt LXT system, the worlds largest cordless tool system powered by 18-Volt lithium-ion batteries. Needed something to take off my lug nuts and I tried it with all of my impact drivers and could not do it. I tried the Milwaukee brushless 18v, Ryobi p238 with 3ah+hp battery, and my dewalt dcd885.. all failed. Got this with little hope since everyone talks about it being so weak but I’ll tell ya what.. this little guy is compact and powerful for its size. It took the lug nuts off that the others couldn’t in a split second. Definitely recommend if you’re looking for a compact impact wrench!!! If you want something heavier and bulkier then you can always get better.
