The torsion section of the bit flexes under load to take pressure off of the bit tip for increased durability. Makita is excellent the number is physically stamped on the side of the torques bit more a little painted edge thing like what Milwaukee the paint comes off on Milwaukee brand I would not recommend the Milwaukee brand because the torques numbers are so close together

I have been using them to remove planks on an older deck (to get to and replace the stringers). They have worked well removing most of the screws. You have to really clean the screw head socket first and then start out slowly with the impact driver. Doing it that way usually prevents cam-out.
