It’s part of Makita’s expanding 18-Volt Lithium-Ion series, the world’s largest cordless tool line-up powered by an 18-Volt Lithium-Ion slide-style battery. I crawl under mobile homes as an inspector. With this light I can see clear from one end of the coach to the other. Makes it really easy to count support piers or check for water leaks. The rotating head allows me to adjust the stream in order to get pictures when I need them without having to use one hand to hold the light and another to take the photos. It’s also one tough piece of equipment. Its already been scratched, smashed and dropped enough times to wreck a normal flashlight, but, it keeps on rocking. I couldn’t be happier, but, then again I’ve only used Makita hand and power tools so I knew I’d be getting a quality product.
