We have been looking to purchase a sausage stuffer for some time and have never done it until now. The LEMS stuffer is a smaller version of the big units LEMS makes. We make Italian sausage with a 3 generation old recipe and this is just perfect for small 20 pound batches. the unit is straight forward with very few parts. The setup is simple and the high quality stainless steel construction make it very easy to clean up. The kit comes with the clamps needed to attached to a table or countertop. The packaging and instructions are all first quality. I couldn’t be happier with the stuffer. There are many of online sausage making companies that will provide all the casings and seasoning (if you don’t have an old family recipe like us:)

Sausage! I started making sausage a few years ago with some brewing buddies. If I wanted to stuff casings I had to borrow a stuffer or wait until we did it as a group. Now I can do it when ever I like. The 5 lb capacity is plenty fort me to keep cool while I work and the mechanism is smooth and easy to operate with one hand while I manage the casing with the other. I ended up bolting it to a cutting board and clamping that to the table. It just felt more secure to me and the mounting holes were already there so it was no big deal.

You’ve got to buy one of these! If you like to make your own hot links, sausages,or summer sausage and want a simple and quick process then the LEM stuffer is for you. We used to use our Kitchenaid mixer with a grinder/stuffer attachment. Ugh! That took hours to complete. We did 5 pounds of summer sausage in less than 20 minutes. Wish I had bought one years ago. And this is made so sturdy it will last a lifetime.
