Nice and light weight. The hook is nice to hold the fish from pulling back into the conduit. Easy to change on a Klein conduit fish. The small hole end is nice replacement or use in conjunction with the hook end and a second fish. Both ends are nice and easy to change out quickly before or during use. I used both on two fish tapes and use low strength thread locker.

these are two very handy wire pulling tools. The bullet ( round ) end is great for pushing throwinsulation and other material.it also has a hole on the end so you attach a wire and pull it back as well. The hook end is great for pushing up a wall and grabbing a wire or hook a wire to pull back to where you need it.both of these tools are a good addition to your tools.

The main problem with these is that they unscrew too easily. Had to buy another set because they unscrewed out of the fish stick from bouncing around in my truck and I lost them. The quality is solid and the hook and bullet work really well when they stay in the end of the fish stick. The stainless steel is top notch. It would be nice if they came with a small box to keep them in while you change them out based on the job.

Fine stainless steel construction of the caliber one expects from Klein Tools. We’ve come a long way from simple flat spring wire fish tapes! No more refashioning the hook and trying to temper it… Use a bit of thread locker (Loc-Tite removable blue?) or neatly tape the joint to avoid losing these little buddies. The bullet (Part #1) fits through inconspicuous intermediate pull ports (and observation ports for bore scopes) we made in historical structures where framing is non-conventional. It’s just the ticket for retrieving the pull tape to initiate a pull-in. We’ve tried various ball and bulb tricks to skirt obstacles and recently discovered the Klein Whisk. Now the single hook (Part #2) in series with that does a far superior job than does any single hook alone. We’re glad to take advantage of the strength and capacity of the hook without unnecessary taping that used to fail, snag and reduce flexibility.

Fish rod attachments is a couple little attaching tools for grabbing things in the walls you can’t reach other wise. The bullet nose will let you tape wires to it and pull back through the walls. These are a must for all workers who fish things thru interior walls. Very durable and strong yet light weight and easy to use. Keep them handy in a little pouch and use them every time you fish wires inside walls or other tight places. Recommend these two attachments.

A single hook to attach to a fish rod or tape. This is nicely made, should last a long time, and stay securely on the fish rod or tape. I pull a lot of computer network wire, and this should work nicely for that application, as well as pulling other items through walls and ceilings. It appears that it would not easily snag in a wall like some other hooks that I’ve used, and I think that’s important.

Running wire in conduit or adding wire after the fact is a pain, however this hook and bullet makes the job easier. I had a Cat 5 wire to go bad and had to run a new cable from my garage to my shop. I ran the fish rod with the hook through the conduit/PVC, hooked the Cat 5 and pulled it through fairly easily. I can see using the bullet accessory to pull #12 wire through conduit as well. These are two very nice accessories to have. I would recommend adding them to your electrical toolbox

Klein Single Hook and Bullet Fish Rod Attachments. The Klein single hook works great when pulling several wires at a time. Can be used when pulling several cables above a T bar suspended ceiling in a closed or open plenum ceiling. Be sure you wire jackets are code approved for open plenum ceilings. I have also used for puling multiple wires in rigid EMT conduit and works well. The other tip is the Bullet wire puller end. This is an excellent tip for pulling wires in conduit and also the thin flexible rods make it easy to actually start your wire pull into an existing already mounted and drywall box. The tip is much smaller just a little over 3/16 of an inch made or stainless and it tough and with the rounded tip finds it way smoothly in the wall cavity without conduit. Home Depot sell these tips as they are small and get lost. Yes, they are threaded onto the fish rods but without checking they will come off if they are not constantly tightened. (Hint: check the tips often when using the fish poles). When using the fluorescent fish rods, you can see the rod in a dark wall cavity and the round bullet tip being dark allows the rod to glow and actually highlights the tip. This tip works with Klein all Klein Fish Rod sets. These tips do not fit the steel fish tape swivel eyelets as the tread size is smaller. The actual thread size on these tips is 8/32”.As with all Klein tools they are manufactured with the highest quality in mind to give you excellent results.

Got these to replace attachments that i lost. This does not include the actual rod so go elsewhere if that’s what you’re looking for. These attachments are perfect to either fish or hook wires in hard to reach places. I’ve used this to replace some Cat 5e cables in my closet. I’ve also used this to run wires from my TV cabinet to my fireplace to hide wires.

This is a great addition to my Klein Tool Glow Rod kit. I got these to replace the hook that I lost somewhere in my attic while running wires for a light in my bedroom. I really like Klein’s electrical tools and is my preferred brand when shopping. This set is very durable and well built. I honestly was surprised how strong the hook is. I don’t remember the original one being as thick and strong. Definitely not something that can be bent easily. I definitely recommend this product. The price is more than reasonable and the quality is great.
