Based on our legendary best seller model #RCC7, featuring an 11-Watt UV Lamp with Smart Flow Sensor, Alkaline pH+ and mineral stage, and 24-Volt Boost Pump, RCC1UP-AK is the most comprehensive Reverse Osmosis water filter system in the market. Most UV filters in the market have the lamp powered on constantly; we have developed the innovative transformer that features an inline Flow Sensor. Whenever you turn on the drinking faucet and water starts flowing, the UV lamp is powered on automatically and turns on and off along with water flow. This prevents a potential heat hazard and extends the life of the UV light bulb. ISPRING RCC1UP-AK generates clean filtered water for drinking, cooking, hydroponics, aquariums and more. The unit removes hardness, heavy metals, toxins, and many other tap water contaminants. The equipped 11-Watt UV Lamp makes this model more suitable for potential highly contaminated water source such as well or groundwater. The alkaline filter provides pH balanced drinking water for human body. You will enjoy great tasting water with beneficial minerals right from your tap at merely 3 cents per bottle.

Setup was real easy. Have had great tasting water for the past year and a half. Customer service is the best for an issue i had. Resolved very quickly. Have recommended and will keep recommending the 7 stage filter setup.

I’ve been researching various filtration systems, and iSpring’s 7 Stage was by far the best functioning system that also has very fair priced filters.Setup was fast and easy, I opted for a basement install and ran 5 feet of line up to the tap in the kitchen which worked out great. I also ran a total dissolved solids test after the intial purge to see exactly what my numbers were like, here’s the results:-Tap water (City of Oshawa) came in at 175ppm-Hot water for giggles came in at 250ppm-iSpring RO water came in at 20ppm, and no doubt would be single digits but the ALK filter adds back essential minerals.I’ve since tested periodically and it’s still functioning perfectly.I really liked how the UVC light is turned on via a flow switch, most systems kept this bulb running constantly, which not only massively reduces it’s usable life, but also makes your water warm or even hot coming out of the tap lol.I used a sharkbite copper T fitting to adapt to the 1/4 flex piping for the supply line with a shutoff built in and made sure to use a brass insert on the flex pipe end, you could of course just opt to use the included fitting to adapt directly to your under-sink water supply between the tap flex hoses. The booster pump is very quiet and barely noticible when in operation, and waste water from the RO membrane is minimal at best, and not even an issue. Any issues or questions I’ve had were dealt with instantly and professionally directly from iSpring and they really live up to their reputation, my whole family is happy with the purchase and we feel much better knowing that if the City drops the ball with filtration or testing (the water usually smells like garbage in the hot summer) not to mention who knows what’s going on in the pipes between the water stations and your home, we are covered.

I went from 525ppm water to 16ppm! Unit works excellent. No problems, and I like the additional UV lighting and mineral additives to the water. Coffee tastes better, cooking with it tastes better. Extremely pleased.I replaced the 5gal tank that comes with the kit with an 11 gal tank. I have it setup in my basement on the wall. I used ShelfTrack pieces to set the 11 gal tank on (7 gal effective). The ShelfTrack hangers are attached to a 3/4″ plywood measuring 2’x3′, also purchased at Home Depot, with 3″ screws holding it to the studs. The output of the water goes into a T, with one end going to my ice-maker in my refrigerator and the other end going to the faucet in my sink.Because it needs to be no more than 15′ from the faucet, and the drain in my basement is at the other end of the basement, I configured the waste water drain with three 10′ sections of 1/2″ PVC pipe, with sharkbite connectors to go from the RO system (1/4″ to 1/2″), then at the other end of the PVC pips, to go from 1/2″ to 3/8″, and finally I used 3/8″ hose that drains into my laundry sink. I wanted to go larger than the 1/4″ output so I went with 3/8″ so there are no flow issues. The 30′ of PVC pipe is suspended by hangers I also got from Home Depot, so there is a gradual decline in the run. The pump only needs to send its waste water about 2′, then gravity takes over as it goes down the pipe. With a few 1/4″ Ts I also purchased at Home Depot, the unit is a great success. I added some 1/4″ valves so I could disconnect the faucet, the ice maker, and the water tank as needed, and also on the main supply line, for changing filters, or for other reasons for taking the RO system offline in the future.

The RO system works perfectly and the water tastes great. All the system components were present in the packaging and without any damage. The instruction manual was easy to follow and understandable. I installed the system at a lower level workshop. The manual was informative enough to adjust.

I have sulfur water and it makes my water drinkable again. Also had a part I could not get to work, the customer service was very helpful and sent me a new part free of charge.

Great tasting and safe water for drinking and cooking. Also use the water for my aquarium and other pets water bowls. Only complaint I have is the storage tank is too small (3 gallons), however, as I have the unit installed in the basement I am ordering a 20 gallon storage tank. This unit has a direct line to my fridge and to the included faucet in the kitchen sink. Cold, clear, safe and great tasting water always on hand.

Good tasting water. Few suggestions: when you unpack, check all parts. Also check preassembled part of the system against diagrams in manual. In my case it was not connected properly. One of the T-fittings was missing locking clip (I found it in spare parts bag). It would be nice if company put some kind of checking point for UV light. Because right now, I don’t know if light is working or need to be changed

We have had a few issues in terms of needing replacement parts… but customer service has been terrific. The system, after a brief period of adjustment, produces tasteless, pure water.

A little complicated to install. Under sink plumbing had to be altered to accommodate the unit because of size. Plumber solved the problem. Unit working very well

Because of my old age, I hired a plumber to install my 7-stage RO system. Well, he installed a part of it backward, so my UV light didn’t go on. I called ISpring to the rescue. They never missed a beat on responding to me and they figured out what had happened. It was corrected and is working great. I have never been happier with a company that “answers their phone”. If you do have to leave a message, they call you back soon. The system is working great and the water tastes great. I feel I’m well protected against bacteria with the extra UV light and love the idea I’m getting an extra boost of alkaline. Can’t get that from a store. I’d recommend this product to anyone seeking a good, quality RO system.

Great product. It a little tricky to install. Plumbing piece was plastic and didn’t attach to our existing connection. Had to find a plumbing shop that had the right part.
