Bicycles often have different sized hex head fasteners. Where a steel or titanium hex bolt screws into aluminum one has to be especially careful to follow factory recommended torque settings. It would be easy to ruin an expensive component by over tightening. I use a 1/4” drive torque wrench on smaller stuff so these hex sockets are a necessity. Quality and appearance are excellent. I recommend them.

Not the best but decent. The lifetime warranty is nice to have, and I’ll probably end up needing it. 1st job put a slight twist into one of the smaller sizes. Again, considering the price and warranty, a pretty good buy.

I ordered these because I thought they were small sockets that also had bits in them. That is not the case. The actual bits are in the socket and they are fastened to where they cannot be removed. While alot of these bits come standard in a drill bit set, there are sizes in this set that are larger than the norm. That is nice because sometimes when putting together boxed furniture or other unassembled items, there are a variety of sizes. For me, I could have used these about 2 months ago assembling a Craftsman shed. All the hardware had different size allan heads :-/ These are constructed well and have a plastic holder to keep them mounted on. You can use them with a socket wrench or a nut driver socket handle. These are Metric.

Bought set to use to adjust headlight aim since newer headlamp assemblies use “star” adjusters. Wasn’t sure of exact size so purchased a set. Sure I will run into other torx style of different sizes in the future.

This is the first bit set I’ve seen with the E-Torx sockets, a nice addition; along with the T-27 bit, which usually I don’t usually see in a standard set. The finish on all of the socket bases is chrome which makes them easy to keep clean, The finish on the bits themselves appears to be bead-blasted with no observable quality issues of tips. The socket locks very securely onto a 1/4” adapter. I opted to place them in a 1/4” socket adapter and hit driver on the drill and get to my stuck on/off switch in the shop vacuum. Made quick work of all 12 screws. Performance was as expected; worked flawlessly on the T-25 screws. The chamfered ends make it easy to get the bit seated fully and doesn’t cause them to stick inside the head, which can slow you down. I did notice a slight wobble of the bit tips and placed only the socket in my drill to spin a few without the bit driver attached. They’re not 100% centered, but they don’t wobble enough to make it a real issue unless you’re doing very precise work. This could lead to bit round-out though.

This eight piece hex bit socket set came in handy on more than one project around the house since we got it. I do not really have anything to complain about, we keep it in a small compartment in the toolbox but I guess if we didn’t I would complain the little piece to hold them does not hold them very well. We love the husky brand, have not had to use the warranty on anything yet.

The Husky 14 piecce 1/4: drive Torx set is a very nice set of tools. I am really impressed with the quality of these drivers, the chrome plating, and the variety of bits. The web description doesn’t indicate what is included and the photo only shows nine bits, not 14, so here is what is included: torx sockets – T8, T9, T10, T15, T20, T25, T27, T30 and Torx bits – 4mm, 5mm, 6mm, 7mm, 8mm, 10mm. The plastic strip holder is a nice idea to keep these organized and not rolling around loose in the drawer, so far they remain stuck to the strip. I was pleasantly surprised by this set, and Husky has a no questions ask lifetime warranty. A definite recommendation.

This is an 8 piece SAE hex bit set, for assembly/removal of screws/fasteners with the standard 6 sided “hex” heads, derived from the W.G. Allen patent for recessed hex-driven safety screws filed back in 1909. These need to be attached to a 1/4″ drive socket or drive extension. The drive socket connects to the polished chrome portion of each hex bit unit. There is a nice detent to keep the bit attached to your drive socket if it has a ball detent. The labeling on the package saying “Chamfered Lead-in Bit for Fast and Easy Placement Onto Drive Tools and Fasteners” is a bit confusing, This is the the hex bit and would be placed on the hex fastener, not onto a drive tool. I think it would be clearer to say “Chamfered Lead-in for Easy Placement Onto Hex Fasteners”. The storage rail isn’t particularly robust – the bits fall of it very easily. I like the Lifetime Warranty and assume Home Depot will honor this in the future (if needed).

The Husky SAE hex bit socket set is a great addition to any tool box and goes perfect with T-handle sets. These 1/4″ sockets are great to have when a T-handle wont work and better leverage for tighter screws that require some leverage. Great for tight spots as well. The only complaint I have is the cheap rubber strip that hold socket set together. I recommend purchasing a steel rail.

These allen wrench sockets sure are handy for the DIYer. Sometimes an allen bolt will be in a place that is dificult to get to with an allen wrench which means that you can only turn it a little bit and then have to remove the sllen wrech to reposition it. With one of these on a ratchet you don’t have to remove it, but merely wratchet it which means much faster removal or installation. Thats also handy for allen bolts that are easy to get to.

These work well for me. I like that they fit right onto my ¼” drive ratchet. I also have a ¼” hand driver that they fit onto as well. The set includes all the common sizes that I expected for the size of the set and drive. They even come on a holder to keep them all in place. I was able to put a fair amount of torque on these through the ratchet which is good for breaking loose stubborn bolts.

Ever run into one of those fasteners that aren’t like a Phillips or Slotted screw head? Yep, it’s probably a torx bit, one of the most evil inventions ever foisted on mankind to this day. If you’ve ever run into one of these and you just HAD to get a project done, you know how frustrating it can be to not have the right shaped fitting. No, sticking a screwdriver in and hoping it catches just isn’t going to cut it, especially if it’s a tight fit. This Torx Bit Socket Set from Husky has you covered. Not only does it have the male torx drivers (4mm-10mm), but it also has the complementary set of female sockets (T8, T9, T10, T15, T20, T25, T27, and T30), which I have heretofore not run into yet, but I knew that I someday would if I did not buy the complete set. And of course it would be at 11pm on a saturday night when I can’t get to a store to get one. You will need a 1/4″ socket driver or 1/4″ adaptor if your socket driver is 3/8″ (as most are) or 1/2″. I got the Husky extension adaptor set just for this purpose. I wanted to be able to use them in my cordless drill. The torx bit set includes a plastic storage rail that seems to hold the bits well. The set also comes with the Husky lifetime warranty, so life is good!

Excellent value for $10. The plastic rail is cheap & worthless. Out of the package, several sockets barely held onto the rail. I moved the sockets to a spare metal clip rail I had. The size markings on the sockets are difficult to read. My Kobalt set markings are easier to read and came with a better rail, but the Kobal set costs more and doesn’t include the smaller sizes.
