With a 3-sided micro-edge bezel, the E243i 24″ 16:10 EliteDisplay IPS Monitor from HP is ideal for multi-monitor configurations. This aesthetically pleasing monitor features a 1920 x 1200 resolution with a 16:10 aspect ratio, a 1000:1 contrast ratio, a 5 ms response time, and 178° horizontal and vertical viewing angles. Setup is simple as this monitor comes equipped with HDMI, VGA, and DisplayPort inputs as well as dual USB 3.0 ports to connect USB compatible peripherals directly to the monitor. Once configured, the display can be tilted, swiveled, pivoted, and the height can be adjusted to for maximum viewing comfort.

I’m a retired electronic engineer and photo hobbiest. I bought one of these last year for the color accuracy and image quality and was not disappointed… so I decided to get another one to tether to my camera. It works well… the panel can rotate 90 degrees (either way) into vertical position, so it’s great for displaying portrait shots. Any camera or device with an HDMI port can drive this monitor, so it’s not just for computers. I’ve checked the color with charts and it’s perfect, assuming of course that you pick the right menu options. The image quality is as good as it gets, and for the price I’m quite pleased. They don’t make many 16:10 panels anymore, so I was glad to get it… the wider they make them the more wasted space I seem to end up with, at the sides of the screen.
