years ago i was given a set of Henckels International knives and I have throughly enjoyed and used them for over 20 years. When I saw this 7 inch bread knife was available, I had to have one because there was not one in the set I have and knowing the quality I knew it would be good to own. I was not disappointed. I describe the knife as good as you can get. Solid, attractive, heavy duty and its edge and size does a great job slicing the bread we love to eat from the bakery. I am very happy to have found this knife and I can not recommend it highly enough for someone to own and use.

One of the good ones. I’ve been a bit put off by some of the less expensive Henckels knives I’ve purchased in retail stores. This is in a different class. Full tang, solid riveted scales, and steel that actually holds an edge. It’s a very well balanced knife and very sharp out of the package. I cuts through even softer bread easily and cleanly. You can put it in the dishwasher, but I prefer to hand wash my nicer knives. Made in Spain.
