Good build and very sturdy its exactly what I was expecting and more and you wouldn’t think there is much to expect from a simple stand but its not JUNK which I guess I was expecting a little bit of junk factor but NOPE.. Its all good!

We needed this mount to show one of our clients some of our apps through an iPad. This was really easy to set up under 10 minutes and it looked professional.

I bought to put a Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 10.1 inch tablet. Due to the new thing bezel tablets this will not fit or would fit a 10.1 iPad. There is about an extra inch between the clamps and the tablet. There was no way for me to know this as the clamping width is not provided in the specs. Only the stand height. The stand does not hold the tablet steady. I use it for a remote and after i tap the screen the whole stand wobbles.

While the stand itself is relatively sturdy, the holder lacks quality. The holder is designed so that it attaches to a mount on the stand and you are allowed to turn it clockwise in 90 degree increments to a click stop. The attachment mechanism is sloppy as it allows about 8 to 10 degrees of slop. My intent was to use this for holding an iPad – which it does pretty well – that is used in recording. Because of the slop, this isn’t very steady when you try to use the iPad. I called the manufacturer and have yet to hear back from them – you have to leave a message. If I do, I will update this review. I will probably end up spending more money and put a RAM mount on this stand.
