I needed a pry bar and the choice was either the Estwing or the Vaughn. I would have preferred to get the Vaughn because it’s made in America. Although the Estwing is made in Taiwan, it has a keener edge, and the angle at the business end is slightly rounded, which really helps if you’re trying to get at something in a tight space. Plus it is $2 cheaper. It’s a great pry bar and I’d definitely recommend it.

This pry bar came in very handy for a project at home.Working in a confined space in the attic, this bar allowed me to get enough leverage to get the job done! This isn’t a tool I use every day, however it’s a very useful hand tool to have in your tool box!

It helped so much. Made the job so much easier when the crow bar was to thick to get under the nails. Game changer.

It’s ok. I had a thin black one that was awesome. This is a little too thick and the bottom doesn’t take nails out at all.

This is a sturdy tool that I am enjoying using. It puts pressure on pulling nails and boards where I an not get a hammer, and is lighter in weight than a full wrecking bar. It is easy to use in removing molding and separating nailed together lumber. I would not be without this tool.
