Needed something tougher than a residential trimmer. My luck with gas powered anything has been bad up until this unit. This unit kicks it with enough power to handle very dense weeds. It doesn’t slow down and get bogged down. The speed feed head, and I was skeptical and prepared to replace it, is the easiest and fastest loading head. Way easier than anything I’ve ever seen. Super easy. Buy this if you need a little more.

I have always used Echo chain saws because they are reasonably priced and work great. They start very easily and are a joy to use. I bought this trimmer because I have very heavy grass/weeds to cut and I wasn’t disappointed. The trimmer started on the second pull and ran very well. Other than having to purchase a shoulder strap { the unit is a little heavy} I am completely satisfied.
