I love my new Echo trimmer. We have been Echo fan for many years and this new one replaces my old one. I find it to be a little bit lighter which makes it easier to use. The gas tank is a little smaller than the old one (one reason it is lighter no doubt), but big enough. Love the new head that can be rewound without removing the cover.

So far so good. Way better than the standard curved shaft models that are too short for taller people (I am 6′ 2″). Saves the back pain from bending over and I love the bump feed and quick change line system, makes changing line so, so much easier! Will never go back to the old wind-up systems. Did not give it 5 stars since I am having trouble getting used to the power, just can not quite control the cutting position do to the kickback/thrust load of the head. We will see if I can adapt.

I had some trouble with the line “bump” feed at the start. The motor runs strong. Have used the trimmer for about 12 hrs so far, cuts thru heavy grass and weeds. I am satisfied so far and would recommend purchasing in the future.
