I received this 16 piece Metal accessory kit about a month or so ago. Have finally been able to test everything attachment included. I found it to be a pretty good little “Starter Kit”!! I had to run out n grab a couple of extra pieces, but I am VERY pleased with this kit!!

When I was offered this product to test, I jumped at the chance. I am always doing some sort of project with my old Dremel 4000, and these bits came in very handy. I love the gray polishing wheels. They will remove corrosion from metal quickly and cleanly. I would recommend this kit to anyone who has, or is getting ready to buy a Dremel kit.

A perfect starter kit for etching stone and glass – Love the diamond tipped etching bits and the double ended diamond drill bit. This will be perfect for etching and putting holes in stones for use in necklaces! Also, etching glass beer mugs…

Good little kit. It has a nice variety of tips for your Dremel, but more specific to working on etching your products. It is nice to get just what you want and not get a giant kit where you don’t need most of the parts.

Worked like a charm, I really put this set though the ringers and not one single issue came up. Exactly why I purchase Dremel brand products.

The Dremel 736-01 Stone and Glass Accessory Kit has most everything you need to drill, sand, grind and cut with. Having the opportunity to test this kit was a real bonus in that I worked on several project that I had pushed to the side over the years. I worked with some slat to make a oil lamp that had only been a dream to make and was able to finish up a bottle lamp with the help of the glass tools. The kits seem to give you a little bit of everything in them to get the job done. I am sure with all the many Dremel accessories out there that there are many specialty tools in the Dremel line that might do a better job because of its design, but this kit is hard to beat. For the average hobbyist like myself these small kits are priced right and give you a variety accessories for your projects. Each kit comes in a plastic case for storage and they do not take up a lot of space in the shop or the tool cabinet. The quality is outstanding, price is excellent and the selection of tools in the kit are perfect for most all projects that may come your way. I have found that the kit purchases are a great way to collect many accessories without breaking the bank.

I recently tested the Dremel Glass and Stone Kit and the Dremel Metal Kit as part of the Dremel Vue review program. I currently have an all-purpose accessory kit, which I frequently use. These kits contain the basic tools needed for glass and metal work, and they’re a good starter kit for hobby work in each of these media. I have been taking a beginning metal smithing course for jewelry making. I used the sanding tips to round and deburr 18 gauge copper. It worked effectively; in fact, I wish it included a small, thin for working in small areas, which would have been handy. I have used the cutting/grinding wheels for past projects around the house, and they were handy and easy to use.Likewise, the glass and stone kit is a nice starter kit with basic accessories. I successfully used the grinding and engraving tips on glass and terra cotta. But it wasn’t as effective on stone. I suspect I would have had more success if I used a corded, higher power Dremel tool – which I will try in the future.Overall, these are nice starter kits for someone who has specific metal or glass projects in mind. For someone just starting out with a Dremel, I would suggest purchasing an all-purpose kit for maximum versatility.

I’ve only used the grinder bits so far, but they’re nicely shaped for small work. There is also a lot of extra space for extra cutting discs, which with my ability to break them, is probably a good thing

These diamond bits allowed me to engrave on my stainless steel mug that looked like everyone else’s. Now not only does it stand out from the crowd but with my name on it people cant mistake it.

The best thing about this is you can grab the kit and your tool and be ready to work. No digging through the box or large accessory kit trying to find each piece you need, everything is already there, ready to go so you can complete your project without the hassle! And you know you are getting quality accessories as nothing beats the Dremel brand. They hold up like no others. I would definitely recommend this product!

This review is for the Glass and Stone Kit #736. The diamond tipped bits in the kit worked very well on sedimentary and other soft stones. However they would not cut through harder stone like quartz at all. After carving several — albeit simple — designs in a river rock, I saw very little wear on the bits, which was surprising. The bits worked equally great in my regular Dremel and in the Stylo+. It think this would be a great kit if you’re working with softer stones. A diamond tipped cutting wheel would have been a useful addition.I wish Dremel would include a speed chart in their kits so we would know the optimal speeds for using the different bits with different materials.

This is a great starter kit for etching stone and glass. The gray polishing wheels also work nice on many surfaces. They have removed corrosion from metal bolts quick and easy.

If you use your Dremel tool as much as I do, you’ll need this great refill kit. Or if you need different accessories that did not come with your kit, this is what you need. I use Dremel accessories to clean and detail 3D prints. Dremel and the accessories have so many uses, I have a hard time completing projects with my trusty Dremel. My friends know I use Dremel and they always want to borrow my stuff. Sometimes I’ll buy one as a gift for them.
