The extra compartment under the lid for small items is well thought out and a good way to use every inch of space. It packs an amazing amount of power considering the size and weight. Will drive a screw just as fast as DeWalt’s full-size 20V Max tools AND it’s cheaper. You’ll see keyboard warriors ripping on the Atomic line – don’t listen to them. I’ve been using it daily for months as a carpenter and have had zero problems. If you’re driving large diameter fasteners like lags bolts I’d suggest going to the XR impact, but for everything else, this tool is the ticket!
