Built a work bench with 5 custom shelves that needed inlaid cuts using a jig saw so I bought this to do the job and I couldn’t be happier. This jig saw accepts T-Shank blades and they can be installed in about 3 seconds (no exaggeration). Changing out the blades from roughing to clean cutting was super easy and is just as fast. My 3 Amp-Hr battery powered this for the entire working day (about 10 hours) without a problem. I have had zero issues with this tool and based on the build quality I don’t expect any issues. I love this saw!!

The blades are fine, excellent quality. I wish the instructions were better. Not being an experienced jigsaw user, I found little to guide me about the differences between the blades. Also, there was no help either on the package or on the website about how to cut plastic. I finally did a Chat with a Dewalt representative who helped.

Excellent quality. Ripped right through a fireplace chimney that was concrete-lined. I didn’t know the concrete was there. I just used the wood blade with the DeWalt 20 volt jigsaw. Works so well, I used it in place of a circular saw in OSB boards for quick and smooth cuts.
