Really like this ‘ it will run table saw or pancake compressor or mitersaw and basically whatever you want one tool at a time but it’s the cheapest way to get cordless use without replacing all your tools

I use the portable power station in my job site trailer as a power source to power non-cordless tools (like a Ridgid shop vac). So far I have been very happy and it has worked exactly as advertised. I set mine up with four 6ah flexvolt batteries so that there was no weakest link battery. When doing lots of production work cords and corded tools are typically the name of the game. For small jobs though finding an exterior outlet, breaking out 50 or 100 feet of extension cord, setting everything up, etc and then breaking it all down after making a few quick cuts is a time wasting pain in the you know what. Using this portable power station makes life a lot easier and is a big time savings especially when coupled with Dewalts flexvolt table saw or miter saw and wanting dust collection at the same time.

Store had item on sale, but was an online order only. I was “talked into a gift card” to make the purchase since I only had cash. When I tried to return I wasn’t able to get my cash back even having “all” receipts. The multibank station is what I was looking for but did not realize it was so big.

I just got mine a day ago, power went out while I was bushing concrete, I was able to use this to run the Hilti 70, which is a power hog, to finish what I needed. I was impressed considering our Honda 2000 generator can’t even handle the power demand of the Hilti hammer drill.

Had this item for 3 month now and it saves me plenty of time and physical power. No more sledge hammer hitting ground rods. Extension cord to short no worries. I can make a commercial with this. It’s a great product to have.

Bought two of these for our Rescue team. Mostly for the charger but the remote power unit in a pinch. Yesterday we deployed these units off the truck right to the site where we needed to work, providing power to our crews to run tools and lights to make a trench rescue. One use made the purchase worth its cost and look forward to more flexibility that Dewalt provides with the Flexvolt tools.

I had the opportunity to evaluate this battery charger. I have to say I was a bit disappointed. There are a lot of features involved but most center around the fine battery sets DeWalt sells. No cords included. It is designed to charge with a cord attached but so is the standard charger. The theory is to have a unit that will also power remotely from the attached batteries to power something else. WHY? isn’t that the reason for the batteries in the first place.?. Why carry this beast to a jobsite? My truck carries extra charged batteries and my non powered jobsites all have generators.

Awesome for on the go power requirements. Only down side is its bulk and lack of dust cover for the charger when you remove a battery. If you never need to remove a battery then great but is a real problem when using as a charger at a site with lots of dust.

The first thing I plugged into it was my Dewalt belt Sander. It would not start. I thought the brand new unit was defective. It was not, it will not power everything. I got it started and it ran funny.I couldn’t start it again. Everything else I have plugged in has performed perfectly.

This Product Is NOT a FAST charger Note no fan slots in the battery bays . it having portable power capabilities moves me even less. 4 Batts charging is Great BUT I couldve just Used Two two bay Yellow Fast Chargers and Ive 4 singles thatve come with Kits.. It do fit on a real toughbox like the 400..Nice to pick the thing up loaded not having to move multiple units .. Shoulda been 4 fast chargers for this money.. but its a write off so no matter absorbed by customers anyway..

My one complaint, other than price, is it takes a good hour to charge up to 4 batteries. I put 2 new batteries on and it took 1 hour 15 minutes to charge. It would have been nice if it came with a small AC cord of some kind. The plus side is that the charged batteries power the 1800watt converter for about an houre of intermittent use of a corded tool. Nice if your off site someplace.

I purchased this around 2 to 3 years ago. I mainly used it for powering a heat gun to bend pvc conduit or to power a soldering iron to solder connections for landscape lighting. The powerstation provides enough run time to run a 1400 watt heat gun to make several bends in 1/2 or 3/4″ pvc. Beats running a cord or starting a generator when power isn’t near by.My only gripe….modified sinewave output. I understand it reduces costs to build it this way and the modified sine is ok for just running basic corded tools or fans. It would be nice if they maybe provided an additional 150 or 300 watt pure sinewave inverter on this unit just for running low draw electronics. Then you’d be able to take this camping or tailgating and power some led lights and music with no worry of damaging any electronics.

I bought this so that I can use my equipment anywhere without the limitations of a cord. I had this for a year now and I am impressed. With a 4.0ah battery as my weakest link, I was able to power a 24″ TV for a little over 7hrs. Great product that is a true game changer. This will work up to 15amps, so you can use heavy duty equipment like a table saw anywhere. It makes your corded products semi cordless and accessible anywhere

I guess I’m a little disappointed. Dont get me wrong it’s a fine product. I thought it would be able to handle more. I’m using it for camping. An you put a crock pot on it well it eats up the power quickly.

It’s the key basis to all my dewalt cordless power tools .
