The equipment was fairly easy to install and I had no leaks. I am although concerned about the quantity of sodium that comes through the filter. I have taken a sample of the water for analysis.

Just hooked this up. Took maybe, 1 hr. The plastic adapter fit and doea not leak…yet. To be safe, I ordered a speedfit angle stop valve to replace it. The speedfit has metal comnecrors, yet still takes the unit’s 1/4″ tube, and locks it in tight.

I have purchased two of these systems. One in 2013 and another in 2015, to replace delivered 5-gal jugs of spring water. Very easy to install and to replace filter cartridges. The water tastes clean, with no metallic or chlorine or salts. I have a kidney condition so it is part of my therapy to avoid high mineral content and to drink a gallon of water daily. I feel safe with Culligan, it is a brand that has a lot of experience in the business of water filtration and they have created a very easy DIY product and an excellent price value.

Would I recommend this product, yes, but my yes is a qualified yes… the system says easy change, and it is, IF YOU CAN FIND A REPLACEMENT FILTER. Problem is, you really can’t get a replacement filter anymore so you have to buy the entire system and all the hardware again and simply THROW IT AWAY which I find extremely wasteful and unnecessarily expensive. Culligan – I’m a fan, but please make the replacement filters available again!!!

Like other reviewers, you may have to get additional parts to install. Do a “dry-run” under cabinet to make sure you have everything. Water quality is good, but faucet is poor quality, and a little awkward handle. The spout itself is very lose and wiggles. One knock with a heavy dish…eik
