   I have made quite a bit of ice cream since buying the Cuisinart ice cream maker. I have made vanilla, strawberry and peach. I use Junket tablets, cream, milk some sugar and splenda. The recipe is from the junket package. Most commercial ice cream has little cream or milk.I have 4 quarts in my freezer now which I will take the next timeI visit my great-grandchildren.

   I heard there are machines that also cool for you, but it’s not much of a hassle to keep the bowl frozen in the freezer so it’s always ready to make another batch of Gelato out Ice cream. It works great. Use a 20% off at Bed Bath & Beyond, online for the best deal.

   In general this is a good product. The negative is a lot of icecream is frozen on the side and bottome when the icecream is ready and you take it out. You have to wait until the barrel begins thawing or waist over 1/2 cup of icecream

   I got this as a gift for Mother’s Day, and I’m loving it. It’s really been creative and fun to think up yummy ice creams and then make them. The best part is it’s pure and you know what’s in it! No gums, preservatives, etc.

   Super easy to use and not nearly as loud as some reviewers made it seem. I keep the bowl in the freezer all the time which is what I recommend if you have the room. Also, make sure your freezer is set to 0 degrees or the bowl won’t ever freeze completely, and keep in mind most ice cream recipes require you to chill whatever mixture you’re using for several hours. My ice cream has come out better when I leave the mixture chill overnight before putting it into the machine. It makes 4 pints which is perfect for me and my husband.

    Hard to imagine an ice cream maker that’s more perfect than this one . . . operation is easy and flawless. I like the quantity this produces so I’ve got a few days of treats in the frig with each batch. This is my first ice cream maker, so I don’t have a basis for comparison, nonetheless I can’t help but recommend it. If this newbie can make outstanding ice cream this easily, anyone can.

    Works better than I expected. We eat a lot of ice cream so we bought an extra freezer bowl. The machine came with shipping damage but does not affect its making fine ice cream, just nasty looking cosmetic damage on the front meta housing.

    I have had my ice60-w maker for several months. I also bought a spare freezer bowl so I can make two batches back to back. I buy a custard mix at a local dairy ready to freeze. I make at least one batch per week. Maker works great. The only problem with it is the lid it doesn’t stay in place. A better latch would be great. If there is a little ice in the bowl when starting the lid wants to jump off. Overall a great machine for homemade ice cream in minutes.

    I’ve had this product about a month, and have made several batches of ice cream. Once I got the hang of it, each batch came out perfectly. It is quiet (especially by ice cream maker standards), quick and very simple to operate. My only complaint is that it does not make the entire 2 quarts advertised.

    Great…Love it! Super easy to use. Makes great ice cream and Gelato. Just remember to freeze the bowl overnight and it’s perfectly ready to eat as soon as it’s finished processing.
